My husband and I frequently stay in hotels for a quick weekend getaway. We chose to say at this Sheraton just to try a place we had never been. From the outside this particular Sheraton looks a bit sketchy. Once you walk in the lobby it is nice. I believe we stayed on the 9th floor. The room was small but we weren’t looking for anything spacious. The room felt very cozy. The décor and furniture complimented the room very well. The carpet and certain aspects of the bathroom seemed a bit dated but that was my only complaint. There was a flat panel TV and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located directly in front of 635 but there was little traffic. We did have a chance to enjoy the pool. It was very basic and rather small. There was nothing visually appealing about the pool area.
This Sheraton seemed to appeal to more of an older crowd. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as a first choice for a family with small children.
There was free parking and the hotel was priced very well. $70 per night for a King.
Overall, I would say this hotel was nothing special. I would describe it as a step above your average LaQuinta or Holiday Inn. We enjoyed our stay and would not mind staying again.
