Great trip! Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Hotel staff was efficient, courteous and polite. Will definitely plan another shopping trip to Dallas and stay at the Crowne Plaza…

We had a non smoking room booked for over two weeks prior to arrival. We arrived this past Friday night around 10:00pm. We were told they had no non smoking rooms available and could have a smoking room. We went up to the room but the smoke smell was aweful. We proceeded downstairs to tell this to the clerk and request agan a non smoking room. He said nothing was available and was not sincere in his words. I asked for anything nonsmoking, even asking for a suite or anything. His response was "nope I don't have anything". Ok well cancel our reservation and we will take our business elsewhere. He didn't care and cancelled our room. We went next door and were able to get a room at a different hotel. Come to find out some friends who had also booked at the same time showed up 30 minutes after us that same night and were given a NON SMOKING king suite. I had just asked that man abot a non smoking room and was told no. But 30 minutes later they suddenly have a room? Absurd. Not to mention the hotel is in desperate need of updating and remodeling. The hotel has nothing to offer. The rooms are old and outdated. Will never return to this hotel again.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza this past weekend and I immensely enjoyed myself. I was in the Oxford suite with a conference table, sleeper sofa, bar stools, and three other chairs. 16 persons could have enjoyed this suite with my husband and I. The decor is dated in the room; however, there is so much space a person will not focus on the decor. I would have given the property an excellent rating but there was an event held at the hotel and the elevator service was horrible. The hotel really needs a elevator attendant because I had to fight to get out of the elevator because a large group was staying and having events at the hotel. I had to walk 7 flights of stairs because of the chaos. Nevertheless, this hotel provided great service. Make sure to have $50 per night for incidentials.

The parking lot felt very secure. It's a 2 minute walk to In-N-Out. The atrium was gorgeous. The room was clean. That's where the positives end. The room decor is very dated. There's no iPod dock in the room. The televisions are not hi-def. In the bath room in my room, there was about an 8x8 inch square of drywall exposed. I'd stay here again, but only because of the price.
