Wow this place really is a dump. The ONLY good thing about it is the Denny’s across the road!! The man at the front desk told me that I didn’t have a reservation even after I produced my receipt and confirmation details printed directly from the Best Western website. He actually said that you should never book from their website as it’s unreliable. Then he said that due to a Windpower convention happening over the week they were fully booked. He shuffled papers around for ten minutes, hoping I would just go away and then reluctantly produced a key. Our room was really gross, and my standards are usually low. The room smelled of damp, like sweaty soggy socks. We realised it was the carpet, it was wet all the way through. We had to keep the door open most of the time. I rang around a few other hotels to see if there was a room anywhere in town, there couldn’t have been anything worse than this place, but we were trapped there. The furniture in the room was really shabby and there were hairs in all the drains. This place needs to be hosed down with disinfectant, then knocked down, rebuilt and then disinfected again. We spent more time in town and in Denny’s than in our room, just because we hated it. Keep away from this place unless you enjoy staying in filthy conditions and keeping your possessions up off the floor.

We have stayed at this motel on and off for several years because it is close to the Dallas Market Center-(plus Denny's across the street is very quick and friendly)- we stopped staying when the prices rose but the standards fell-bruised banana's at breakfast--empty soap dispensers, crappy TV)
now the prices have dropped--we found $64 a night on Best Western site with AAA discount-- The breakfast that is included has improved fastly-- boiled eggs, waffle iron available, cereal, fruit-- BUT we had asked for a room close to elevator because my Dad is recovering from Broken hip--we were given Totally down the hall. We needed an extra blanket because the room was so cold even after turning off the a/c-- We saw the HBO guide and asked what channel it was-- only to find out there was no HBO except HBOfamily (Clerk said:because of new law in Texas says no adult sexual content available to children--?!???) The electric plug at desk didn't work and the bathroom door was warped and wouldn't close------still sheets were clean and the doorlock worked-
so if you only need a bed and continental breakfast for cheap--this is the place

Do not stay at this hotel!! Bugs every where, were told they were crickets. Soon as we got to our room saw dead bugs. Called to ask to get them cleaned up. When the guy came up he cleaned the bugs and changed the light bulb. Asked about heater not working we were told to give it a minute. Waited and waited called front desk again. Was told the heater was not gonna work . Checked out about an hour after checking in. Horrible service would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Dirty run down shocked that it carrys the Best Western name. Web site is a total lie!!

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Its not even worth wasting my time explaining the details. tehy did comp us one night . I should have been smarter and left after teh first bad experience, but I am to forgiving. Just don't stay here.....
