When we first checked in I was a little leery as it was in a pretty rough looking neighborhood, but the room seemed really clean so we gave it a try. The first night was fine; the traffic was a little loud as the hotel is right on the highway but it wasn't bad.The air conditioning worked really well and it did have a microwave and a mini-fridge in the room. The bed was pretty comfortable. We did only get maid service one day.

The next night we found a couple roaches in the room. Ew. Not really surprising but still a little off-putting.

The third night I was at a concert and hubby was at the hotel and said that around midnight the prostitutes showed up. They weren't on our side of the hotel, but on the opposite end (same side but we were to the right of the stairs and this was to the left). The clerk in the office was just sitting there watching it, so it obviously wasn't a rare occurrence. If we had seen that the first night there's no way we would have stayed.

I know we got the room for only $33 a night so maybe we shouldn't have expected much, but I don't think we should have to put up with that!

I knew that I was going to a low budget hotel and was slightly impressed with this hotel. No problems checking in. My room was okay, it has very low lighting including in the bathroom. They did try to update the bathroom with marble tile around tub/shower and the circular shower curtain. The water pressure was good. No complaints for the location to downtown and the price. It was pretty clean and the maid did come the next day to offer service in which I declined.
The do allow weekly rates, so I am sure some people live there. The room does not have a clock, but offer wake up service. No remote, but nice size tv. The beds were pretty comfortable and the room wasn't too small. The front desk offer ironing board and iron with I D as collateral. Free parking was plentiful.
It is located right off the highway, so access in and out is perfect, but you can hear the traffic. It wasn't very loud to me. I was there for NBA All Star Weekend, so I got a great deal and was less than two miles from all the action downtown. Taking a cab was easy and about six to eight bucks to the heart of downtown.
I would stay here again for this type of event where I just need to sleep for the night or day and tidy up for the next day or night. It is not the best place for a family vaction though.

I recently stayed at this inn and I was happy to say that even though they were still renewing some of the furnishing & things around the 90 rooms, that the room I stayed in, was perfect for me & for my stay. Also with the advantage of the 24hr lobby that was great as my flights & luggage were delayed due to weather, so I checked in, in early morning with no problem.

The staff were really excellent . The room I was in, was clean, tidy & with fridge ,micro wave and air con, ( all which were clean also )all worked. The Bed Linen was clean, bed was comfortable & I have a bad back so it was comfortable for it. The room was freshly painted too & carpet was clean, also no critters running around either. Cleaning of room was done every day.
The Inn is situated close to everything I would have liked to see but was unable to do or see due to health at the time of visit. Most things with in a taxi distance or a car if you have one.

I would stay again if the opportunity came up for me definitely. For the price I paid it was definitely worth the stay. Besides you only sleep at night in the room and do the business or touristy thing during the day.
