At first glance the hotel looks nice, but the actual rooms don't match the outside appearance. They're a bit cramped (Or at least the rooms with two beds are) and you get this small stove (no oven) with a sink that doesn't have a garbage disposal unit. If you're planning on using the stove make sure you get some dish washing liquid since they don't provide that (but they provide the dishes and utensils).
The room I was in had an A/C unit that was holding on to what little life it had left. It would turn off and on randomly and we'd have to hit it to get it to run. The card reader for the door was also iffy in that the light would turn green, but the door wouldn't unlock. (Luckily it finally opened after a couple of tries since it was about 11pm and the front office closes at 8pm)
The bathroom is alright. You're provided facial soap and cheap toilet paper. The shower head was apparently installed for people that are shorter than 5'4, so have fun with that. (Good thing my friend is a giant) Keep your toothbrush covered and your toiletry bag closed because there are a bunch of small roaches that hang out in there. (Actually, just keep everything closed tight.)
There is a hidden laundry room that has (I think) six old washers and dryers. (I say hidden because it's on the right-front side of the building that faces the fence and there is no obvious signs pointing you in the direction of it) It'll run you $1.25 to use either. There is a beat up detergent dispenser in there, but I don't remember what they are charging. There is only one laundry room and if you're not in building 3 then you'll have to walk over to it.
There is also a vending machine room that has an ice machine - this is in building 1.
This hotel is somewhat hard to get to from Storey Lane Spur-482 if you're using the Google Navigation application. For some reason it wants you to turn right instead of left onto the weird half circle that puts you in the opposite direction past the road the hotel is on.
Overall it's a good hotel if you're going to Quakecon since you'll probably mostly be in the BYOC area most of the time.
