I stayed for 11 days on a business trip to Dallas. To start, the rooms are good sized with a separate large bedroom/bath area. It has a large flat screen TV and desk in the bedroom. Very nice comfortable bed and bedding. A good sized closet and full size mirror. The bathroom was clean with tub/shower combo.
The main room area has sofa and chair, large flat screen tv, full kitchen with full sized fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen also has all the dishes, pots and pans and flatwear you would need. I picked up several frozen meals on my way to the hotel, so I did eat there from time to time. Every day the dishes were done for me! The kitchen area also has a really nice table and 2 chairs.
Every morning there was a free USA Today paper outside each door. There is a complimentary full hot breakfeast each morning in the dining area, with every breakfast item you would want. It also had a few quick things you could take on the go such as muffins, fruit, pastries etc. My only complaint would be that the breakfast didn't start until 6:30 am and many of us had to leave by 6 am to work. In the early evening Monday through Thursday there is a light meal provided including free wine and tap beer. I thought this was a great touch for the tired business traveler.
There is a hotel shuttle that will take you to local businesses in Dallas, though It was not always reliable so I took cabs more than the shuttle.
The hotel itself was very clean, and the rooms were extremely clean. I was unable to get extra linens and towels delivered to my room on 2 occasions though, and was asked to come down and get them myself. This I felt was out of line with usual excellent service at Hilton hotels. I did call and leave the manager a message in regards to that and received a hand written apology note and a big bucket of treats in my room a few days later. I was pleased that the problem was looked at and addressed, and the treats and note were really a nice surprise.
The business center area did not have a fax machine for guest use. This was very inconvenient for many of us, as we had to have the front desk employee take our things and fax them behind the desk.
Overall I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel to others who want a home away from home that is clean, quiet and had nearly everything you need right there at the hotel.
