“Great Value in the heart of Dallas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We held our wedding at the Magnolia on 2/11/12 and ultimately booked some rooms for our wedding party and guests. The staff at the hotel went out of their way for our entire room block, and were super friendly. We have to give special props to Perry at the front desk who was super sweet and accommodating the entire stay. Suites come complete with kitchens and all necessary appliances, which are great for lengthy stays to save money as dining out in Dallas can definitely add up. Great location off the DART rail, to get anywhere downtown in a timely manner

Room Tip: Request a room higher up - Room 2120 (Suite) has a great view of the west side of downtown, includei...

“Nice stay in an unattractive part of Dallas”

Nice hotel with good little features such as an evening cookies reception and a car to drop off guests locally. We were there on business - the location in downtown Dallas was a little off-putting to out-of-towners and we certainly weren't venturing too far from the hotel on foot in the evening. There is a complimentary cocktail hour but we only went once and the barman had such a bad attitude that I am not sure it could be considered a plus for the hotel. Good friendly valet service and rooms nicely appointed. No room safe though which really irks me.

“Convenient location, breakfast and evening treats included”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

I highly recommend the Magnolia Dallas - it's got a host of great amenities that are all included in the price of the room. These include in-room wifi, buffet breakfast with an ample selection of breakfast foods, a cocktail hour, and a milk and cookies session late at night that can work for families and for business people who need a break from working late at night. The health club has enough equipment to handle the morning rush, too. There is no pool but there is a jacuzzi.. It's across the street from AT&T headquarters so it's very convenient if you're visiting that company.

Room Tip: I prefer and got a higher floor room - it was quiet. The elevators were generally quick to respond...

“Great Value, Central Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

We had 5 nights at The Magnolia Dallas which is in a central downtown location and fabulous value. We booked a double Queen room and were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was much appreciated as we were travelling with our teenage son. We had stayed in Magnolia Denver the year before (which we loved) and Magnolia Dallas certainly lived up to expectations. Great service, clean room, helpful concierge, 'value' breakfast....highly recommended!

“Nice extra touches at this hotel”

Room was clean and large. Staff was very nice. Loved the free happy hour and milk and cookies in the evenings. Gym was very nice. Only negatives were that the bed comfort was average and the colors were a very drab gray. Otherwise, we had a nice visit.
