I had confirmed reservations and upon arrival (at 4PM) I was informed they didn't have my room. I stayed here two years ago and it was worn then. Went down the street and got at great room for less at Quality Inn.

I had a perfectly acceptable experience. The rooms are a little older, but everything was clean and the bed was actually really comfortable. They have a nice little pool and a great little breakfast (waffle maker, juice, fruit, cereal) Much better than the Costco muffin and bad coffee you get at a lot of places. '

If you want a really nice hotel you are not going to get it for $49.99 a night

Got there and everything was ok but when i went to check out found out that i was billed 1 nite more than supposed to be.when i got home i found that i was now billed 2 nites over when asked to fix they told me to call back later.still has not been resolved if they stiffed me like that think about the past people that dont check the bill.dont get screwed as i did

Our experience at La Quinta in Lake Jackson Texas left much to be desired. We have been staying at La Quintas for years as our default accommodation but we have noticed a degradation in quality over the past few years. The latest experience was the last straw – we will never stay at a La Quinta Hotel ever again. We checked into our room walking past the dried blood and other mystery dried (body?) fluids, past the ancient cigarette butts, the dried animal poop,cans, bottles and various other trash to find no lights in the bathroom and no one available to repair. (how do the maids clean what you can't see?) We then changed rooms 4 times total because of 1) no hot water 2) no lights 3) it was a smokers room – we don't smoke and then cleaned and wiped surfaces in the fourth room – they were filthy. We would have left but we had to be at a funeral in 30 minutes so we were stuck. The good thing – the management was new, trying to “turn things around” and was nice and tried to be accommodating but still the place should have been closed and totally remodeled or at least thoroughly cleaned. Stay Away.
