I have been here a week and had to stop in the middle of typing this review to kill a roach crawling up the wall of the kitchen counter. I'm still looking at it as I type this review. Yuck! Unfortunately, I have had to keep all of my food in the refrigerator due to roaches and other bugs occupying the room with me. Henry, the maintenance man, has sprayed the room for bugs three times and still the roaches and bugs are everywhere. In addition, the bed spread covers needed washing. One looked like someone had dropped a huge pizza slice on it. The tomato sauce (6 x 4 ") was on the underside of the spread (the white side of the material) so it was hard not to miss. It was located at the top of the spread by the pillows so I can't believe the maid did not notice it when she made the bed. The other spread had a green spot on it. Eyew! They advertise a 100% satisfaction and when I asked about it, Sydney at the front desk, promised me a free night.. When I paid for last weeks bill, she did not notate this anywhere so I have yet to see any credit on my account. I don't think I will ever stay here again. This place really needs to do something about the infestation of bugs and overall cleaning of the rooms. The price I paid was $91.25 a day with tax or $77.90 without. I talked with other people staying here and they have bugs, too, so switching rooms would not have mattered.

This hotel is located almost across the street from the entrance to the space center. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Really appreciated the in-room fridge to refreeze the blue ice and clean fruit for the cooler.

I got this room for a Thursday through Sunday stay off Hotwire for $35/night. The hotel was clean, room is good repair, room had a good configuration with kitchen, friendly staff, and within walking distance to McDonalds, Starbucks, some Asian restaurants, Luby's, and Denny's. The location was very convenient for our needs almost directly across the street from NASA and within reasonable distance to Clear Lake, League City, Kemah, etc. I would recommend staying at this location and would do it again if I come here in the future.

I got this hotel thru Hotwire for $27 a night, and I kept reminding myself of this fact throughout my stay.

The cute girls at the front desk are very sweet and that was the best feature of the hotel.

Pros...
Full kitchen

no housekeeping unless you stay a full 7 days(I realise for most people this would not be a pro but having been a maid myself I prefer not to have service)

Denny's and Starbucks are across the street

The neighborhood seems fairly safe

Cons....
Though appearing to have been newly refurbished, the room was teetering on the brink of disrepair and not very clean as well. The most glaring example was when I opened on of my windows, the entire window and frame fell out of the wall!

The new carpets are hideous, eye strain inducing colors

One morning I got up around 6 for what I imagined would be just a few moments, but encountered what first appeared to be a buffalo guarding the bathroom, but once my eyes adjusted, turned out to one of the hugest cockroaches I'd seen in a very long while. I was forced to do battle armed with only a flip flop and it took about 15 minutes to subdue and neutralize this beast! First I would chase it, then it would chase me, then I had to beat on it awhile before it took me seriously. Too much excitement for 6 AM

The downstairs entry from the parking lot was broken and didn't lock, or even close completely

The air conditioning would only stay on for a few minutes, I ended up buying a fan

In summary, for $27 a night I'd stay there again, but maybe not for $30!
