“okay, nothing spectacular.”

We stayed in a cabin, it was clean everything worked. There are activities but not daily, we thought laser tag would be available during the weekend but it was only once on Saturday. The gem find, laser tag and bikes are more money. Bikes $5 for 30 minutes. The pool is very nice and warm but we did meet the troll that comes in to remind you no one under the age of 12 in spa, which none of the kids were he just wanted to make sure we knew.
We saw several deer near, it was peaceful but next time we'll try for something closer to activities.

Room Tip: Look into activities, several are only available on certain days.

“Great family weekend get-away!”

We had wonderful weekend at Jellystone near Canyon Lake, Texas. The park is exceptionally clean, the activities well paced for all ages, and there were lots of ammeties. My kids loved meeting Yogi, playing candybar bingo, going on hayrides, jumping on the giant air pillow, mining for gems, and even swimming! It was warm enough the first day for them to play in the water park, the second day there was a chill in the air so we went to the indoor pool. I cant tell you enough how clean everything was! We were fairly close to a comfort station and used that instead of the restroom in our RV. My kids fell gratefully into bed each night completely exhausted!

Folks who complained about no lake/river access clearly did not read the website clearly. They are not on the water, but you are less than 5 minutes from the lake.

Room Tip: If you prefer to not be in the middle of the activities, be sure to ask for an RV slot farther from...

“Nothing special, No direct river connection, and basically just enough”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

Bring your own linen's or pay a $20 fee. Customer service was pretty good, heated pool was a bust as it was not heated. Other pools that were outside did the job and kept people busy. Had some cable tv channels but not going there for television. Some units were close to the road as were the pools so you did hear the vehicle traffic. Overall I would say this is an avergae place for the price in the off-season but actually if they dropped the price some I am sure they would get more activity. Had double beds in the room split by a small couch. With a bright light by the window and the curtains not strong enough to block the light there was some issues with darkness. Other bed was by the air conditioner so there was always a buzz in your ear. Location is around 13-15 miles off the highway so be prepared for a little drive, you do go past the major tube outfitters. There is a tube taxi but you also have a fee for that.

Room Tip: Stay in the back off the road and away from the pool.

“Loved this park and will camp here again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

We spent a week at this campground. I was reluctant to book here based on previous reviews, but we a blast! My children are 11 and 13. I was concerned that my older child would be bored, but this was not the case. We found activities to suit both of them. The pool was fantastic and clean! I was told up front what things would cost additional monies, so there were no surprises. The staff was amazing...helpful and informative. They even took the time to learn the young campers names! Can't wait to go back!!

Room Tip: We camped in a motorhome

“Terrific Time!”

We got a tent site with electricity and water - it was a blast for our first time camping as a family! Great pool, nice camp bathrooms and the staff was outstanding, The kids enjoyed the pillow - only at night time, the activities were fun and so was the pedal cars. The creek is dry but made for great adventures for our kids as they looked for fossils and such in the dry bed. I suggest that you bring a fan - it sure got was hot with no breeze either night. Close to everything and Coleman was having a huge tent sale when we were there which was great too! We will be back for sure!
