Quick business trip wanted my Marriot points, but this one is not in the best condition. Would look for something else on the next trip. Defiantly not worth $85/night. Peeling wall paper in the bathroom, rusty door frame, shower wall panel is attached with several extra screws and lots of caulking; windows seals are bad and full of condensation. Road noise due to low quality windows.

Staff has helpful, since we were trying to get to the college, they gave us maps and great directions. The room was clean, we liked the pool and breakfast was standard fair with something for everyone in the group. Easy access to A&M.

This hotel has a good staff, but is a little to old, and needs to updated. The room smelled lilke smoke, and I know it was non-smoking, but someone obviously had smoked in the room before. I liked that the windows opened, that is nice. The overall appearance of the hotel, however, is just dated. A nice new bed doesn't make a hotel renovated, so I would hope that a complete redo of the hotel is in the future. The price was low, but could probably be lower to provide fair value (I know that this is not a business reality: supply/demand rule). The breakfast is not over until 9 and I think that the staff should remember this and have everything stocked until then. Bathroom was ok, but could be redone to make it look new.

I was staying in College Station for the night. I wanted a decent room, but didn't want to spend a fortune. Fairfield exceeded my expectations.

Great value. Big room. Super comfy bed. Better than average continental breakfast. Clean. Accommodating front desk staff.

I would definitely stay here again and confidently recommend this location.
