For a Fairfield Inn, I would say this one is in the middle of the pack. The facility is old, but it has flat screen TV's and very comfortable (probably new) beds. There is a stale smell, but the rooms are very clean. The associates are very friendly and helpful. I agree that there is a shortage of plugs, but that's not uncommon for FI's. Overall, the bed comfort and quietness trumped any of the other minor observations.

The day we arrived it was 107 degrees inn the parking lot. The A/C was going full blast. The welcome was cordial and prompt. The room was larger than our previous night's. There was a work area and wireless computer hookup. The speed was adequate. There was one armchair and the desk chair. The room and bathroom were clean. The water pressure was good with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night's rest. Breakfast was the usual cereals, waffles, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, juices, pastries,etc. The breakfast room was a little small for the size of the motel. The indoor pool was on the small side. The location was not attractive. It was immediately next to another motel and ran the long ways to the busy street with parking on both sides. It's not the end of the world. It was a pleasant overnight stay. The morning staff did provide us with a fast way of getting to I45 when we continued our trek home.

The people were nice but it is very old and needs to be remodeled!!! The smell on the rugs
is unbearable and it gave allergies...

Stayed at this hotel on business. Overall not a bad experience. Room was clean. There was enough space in the room to get things done. Wireless internet was free. Access to power was a pain, not enough outlets to charge phones and computers for 2 people. Room surroundings were quiet. Easy access to major roads, grocery and restaurants. Staff was friendly and attentive. Did have a billing error. The room was to be billed to a govt CC on the initial reservation. Of course they needed a card to swipe at check in, I gave my personal card. They charged my personal card instead of the govt card given at reservation time. The hotel is taking care of this issue quickly. Breakfast is not bad, good variety with a nice area to eat. Would recommend for business travelers.
