If you are planning a trip to Brenham then you owe it to yourself to stop here. Great rooms, service, Wifi and just a nice place to stay. New and close to dining areas. You can not go wrong staying here. This will be my motel of choice the next time I come to Brenham.

GOOD JOB Super 8 Brenham

This hotel is very new and is very nice for a Super 8. I usually don't stay in this class of hotel but I checked pricing in Brenham and it seemed the others were pretty proud of their hotels so I took the chance. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The beds were very nice, everything was sqeaky clean and the wireless was super fast. I couldn't believe the AARP rate I got. I dropped my car keys on the way in an another guest found them and left them at the desk who gladly returned them. There is a nice Mexican Food restaurant right next door that other members of our party tried and said was really top notch! There is no elevator so if that is an issue you might want to make sure they have a ground floor room available.

Stayed several times. Great rates. Great staff. Serves all your basic needs & more. Great Hot Tub. Clean Pool. Quite. Excellent Wireless Internet. Nice rooms. Even has rooms with 3 Queens at a great price. Opened March 2011. New restaurant next door. Blue Bell Creamery right down the road. This is the newest and closest hotel to it. On 290, close to everything.

I had planned on staying only one night but business wasn't finished so it turned into two.
I got a great rate on their website, $54.23, tax included, for the senior rate. I think the rate would have been the same if two were occupying the room.
The chubby young woman at the counter both evenings didn't exude warmth and friendliness but the staff I encountered the following mornings were all great.
The room, indeed the motel, is only 5 months old. You would expect it to be clean and it was. Small refrigerator and microwave included. Also wireless internet that was accessed flawlessly.
I'm nit-picking here, but the shower wall had no soap dish. You had to use the bathtub for a shelf. Also, the shampoo must have been low quality as it left my hair tangled (and I'm a guy!).
They have a small workout gym and, of course, the ubiquitous swimming pool.
The continental breakfast was about average. I think I can remember everything. Fix-your-own Belgian waffles, two kinds of dry cereal. Whole milk, 2% milk, and orange juice. Donuts, blueberry muffins and bagels. Jelly and cream cheese. Oranges and bananas. And, of course, coffee. Quite strong.

There's a great little Mexican restaurant right next door. Very reasonably priced. But no motel restaurant.
