I don't even know where to start. so I'll just make a list.

BEDROOM:
The icebox was filled with some sort of goop, I did not investigate further.
carpet was stained and disgusting, It looked like a murder scene.
pubic hair was all over the pillowcases. after removing we noticed some oddly colored stains on the actual pillow. it's a good thing we brought our own.
the comforter looked like they picked it up in an alley, it was filthy
sheets barely fit the mattress, so it highlighted all the gross stains underneath.
the metal frame holding up the mattresses was the wrong size and will try to cut your foot off every time you walk by.
we have camped in a tent on the ground and found it more comfortable than the mattresses we slept on here.
room smelled like mold and cigarettes, reminded us of a place you would bring a cheap hooker
several of the lights didn't work
the lampshades were yellowed, cracked, and missing pieces
dim lighting
several of the outlets didn't have electricity
the TV cable was just a wire coming out of a hole cut in the drywall, stuffed with garbage (candy wrappers/paper)
bumping the TV cable cause the channels to lose reception and reset channels
one of the drawers had broken light-bulb glass in it
couch was stained and really old looking
curtain did not fit the window, way too small and i felt my privacy was a concern. they were also just ugly.
I had to slam the door to the room every time just to get it to close.
super thin walls, you could hear just about everything from adjacent rooms
furniture was dirty and greasy feeling, we felt like we needed to wash our hands after touching anything in the room. and we did.
noticeable trash behind couch and bed.

I'm not even exaggerating, that was JUST the bedroom.

BATHROOM;

grimy shower curtain
had to change toilet paper and top part of the toilet was broken
floor tiles were filthy
shower randomly turns on/off when turning on or adjusting water
no plug for the tub, but we didn't mind because we didn't really want to bathe in the filthy tub anyway because of the hair and grime
water temperature was unbalanced
coffee pot was dirty
sink was leaky
faucet handles were dirty
mirror was dirty
they only gave 2 towels for a 2 day stay
They ignore the do not disturb signs and came by multiple times
THE GOOD:
the air conditioner worked pretty good
that's it.


We stayed here after reading a false review off the hotel's own website. We thought this would just be an inexpensive hotel while saving money for the Texas Renaissance Festival, but this place almost ruined our trip. I would not recommend staying here.

I felt like I was in a SAW movie.
