This is a little gem, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
The beds are awesome, soft and smell clean and fresh.
Breakfast was a treat, bacon, eggs and hot toast, with coffee better than Starbucks, what more could you ask for. I will definatly be back.

We stayed here one night. We were very happy with the room. We had a King bed with a sofa in the room. The towels were nice and fluffy. The breakfast has pancakes and bacon and eggs along with the usual cereal, toast, muffins, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for several nights for a wedding, as did numerous friends and relatives. The hotel is clean, modern and well-kept, and everything has a "new" feel. The service is excellent: They were very generous with their discount for the wedding guests, and the desk employees were helpful and friendly, and accommodating our request for a noon check-in.

Our king room was spacious with a couch, desk, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. I applaud the building's soundproofing — our room faced the highway, but we couldn't hear any traffic noise. Nor could we hear people in other rooms, which is saying something considering that middle school girls softball teams were staying there at the same time.

The hotel is easy to get to — right on Interstate 20 — with fast food joints not far away and H-E-B and Walmart not much farther. There's a hot breakfast of pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy plus the usual fruit, cereal, etc. I thought it was fine for a free hotel breakfast. (The cinnamon rolls were gross, though, which I mention only because that's the item Holiday Inn Express uses on all their billboards.) Wi-Fi is free too.

There was only one downside: The sleeping isn't very comfortable. Our mattress was quite hard — I prefer a firm mattress to a soft one, and this was too firm even for me. And as much as we fiddled with the window AC unit, there was no middle ground between running too cold and turning it off altogether, which is not an option in the Texas summer.

But we did get to sleep, and overall our stay was pleasant. I rate the Big Spring Holiday Inn Express 7 out of 10.

This hotel was perfect after a day of driving. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a refrigerator in the room, which was a huge plus. I would definitely stay here again.
