We have stayed at this Hampton Inn every year for the past 3 years because of the excellent staff (Matt and Claudia to name a few). They deliver service which is worthy of a 5 star, not a 3.5-4 star travel inn by Hilton. Also the prices are much fairer than Houston area Hamptons, and yet you have the calm of being just outside the city with only 15-30 minutes drive into the big H-town. Miss Donna who scrupulously prepares the full line of Hampton breakfast items (waffles, delicious moist oatmeal (not dried out, she sees to this personally!), a selection of teas, yogurt, fresh fruit and all the other breakfast things like eggs, biscuits, etc. Because of Miss Donna's efforts and those of her team this place sparkles and there is always a full house of guests enjoying a meal before getting on the road. We are the type of guest who usually skip the hotel breakfast, but not here! It's too delicious!
Rooms here have recently been upgraded, with big comfy beds and comfy comforters. Plenty of room, and QUIET. This is another big plus, because despite being located 1/10 of a mile from the major intersection on I-10 and on Baytown's main street [Garth Road], this hotel is far enough off the highway to escape the noise! Perfect! Truly the best location in Baytown.
Also, a great plus for travelers is that the washer and dryer here are free for replenishing your stock of clean clothing [though the drying time is usually twice as long as normal]. Also, there's a computer downstairs with free internet, as in many Hamptons.
