Although its located along the highway, the place was quiet and peaceful. Staff are friendly and nice. Rooms are clean, so is the pool area. I traveled with my Mother and little dog to Highlands, just outside of Houston, and we stayed here. It was a really nice hotel and in a good location.

Like another review said, the pictures make the place look a lot nicer than it really is. I'm not picky though. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly.

One pet peeve I have is that the hotel descriptions don't specify whether a hotel has wired or wireless internet access. My work laptop does not have wireless so I dragged it with me for no reason.

Though it wasn't horrible, I have to go back to the same area next month and will probably choose another hotel.

They had a free wireless connection which was good. The rooms were pretty old and smelled musty. The beds were uncomfortable and too firm for my tastes. The hotel staff was friendly when I dealt with them. We booked it for two nights on priceline and ended up staying somewhere else on the second night. The pictures on the hotel make it look more nice than it is.
