We (2 adults + 6yr old) stayed here while my husband ran in the Warrior Dash nearby. We knew he would need a shower post-race. Bill was more than happy to extend our check out until 2pm! We stayed in the Marias Suite, our daughter slept on a fold out couch. The only downside was the bathroom location. We needed to walk through the hallway (blocked from other rooms by a curtain) to access the bathroom. Not a deal breaker just not quite what I expected. Breakfast was delicious (Bill even made a waffle for our daughter since she didn't want any of the casserole). I would stay here again for sure.

“Our first bed and breakfast experience was EXCELLENT!”

This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and we loved celebrating our 20 yr anniversary there! Bill was extremely friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks Bill for making our stay comfortable and for sharing your stories with us.

“A historical treasure in a a charming town”

We had a delightful stay. Our hosts were great to share information about the house and the town and suggestions on what to do and where to go. Our room was perfect, had everything we needed, and provided a great night's sleep. The breakfast is worth the stay. We highly recommend.

Pecan Street Inn is a very comfortable, private home very close to downtown Bastrop. The house is located just a block away downtown dining and shopping. The city park on the river is a short walk away; very convenient. Accommodations are comfortable and well appointed. And, of course, breakfast is great. Bill & Shawn make visits relaxing and interesting.
