This motel was one of the most reasonable priced ones around Nashville without having to be right downtown, convenient to interstate, restaurants, and attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was average. The rooms have a safe inside the closets which you are automatically charged for, but they will delete the charge if you ask upon leaving. We like that this is a non-smoking facility.

We were enroute from Florida to Kansas City and stayed at a Sleep Inn in Smyrna, Tn. The first room we were given smelled quite heavily of smoke so we returned to the front desk where the desk attendant immediately gave us another room which was closer to the lobby. The rugs in the hallway were stained and I could hear a dog bark in another room across the hall. (I do not like sleeping in a bed where dogs sleep. I don't care how clean they are)!
The breakfast was acceptable with eggs, cereal, biscuits and gravy, fruit and waffles. There were complimentary newspapers in the lobby, along with free coffee.
There is a Cracker Barrel next door, plus a Ruby Tuesday's on the other side of the hotel. The location is quite handy to Hwy 24, however more attention is needed to updating.

This is the second time in as many years I have stayed at the Sleep Inn in Smyrna. I like this hotel due to the easy access to I-24 to Nashville. There are many restaurants and stores located nearby as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable..I have not found any problem with them. It had a large closet area with sliding doors which I especially loved. It also had a microwave and fridge, and iron with ironing board. The staff was friendly and accomodating. They do have a breakfast area off the lobby ..the one thing that I found strange was that on my visit last year, they had mini muffins every day, along with bagels, toast, etc. This year they did not..they said the muffins were only available on Saturday and Sunday. Seems they changed vendors and that was only when they were offered. Not a big deal but kinda strange.

We have stayed here 2-3 times before and don't remember the room amenities being so tacky. All three lampshades were cracked, the rug was stained, the blanket was stained. But the receptionist was very accommodating and serviced us well. The breakfast was adequate. We were disappointed and may not stay here again.
