Thank you Vic and staff for another great visit. My husband and I have stayed at the Country Hearth Inn of Shelbyville every year for the last 5 years at Thanksgiving. The hotel is VERY CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the showers have great water pressure. The breakfast area is always clean and full. Plus, Vic and staff always make you feel welcome.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is older but clean and friendly. Much better value then the other hotels in this little town. Best value for the money and clean. Beds are a little hard and carpets ate a little outdated but so was the carpet in the $109 a night Best Western Celebration!

I stayed here for a week and i could easily say that my stay was confortable without any problems. It was a quiet place with a complimentary breakfast along with a couteous and friendly hotel staff. Overalll i would describe this as an excellent place to stay for a decent price.

I made reservation early Friday 6/20/2008 in anticipation of a late night arrival. After we checked in and got to our rooom it was dirty, the beds were unmade and it was obvious the room was never cleaned. The night manager was very rude and unhelpful. It was 2AM and he said all the rooms were booked and we could wait if we wanted to for him to clean the room. He offered no apology, no discounts for delaying check in at 2AM and we found him to be very rude. The night manager never offered to help us find other occomadations.

We left and went to another hotel with cleaner accomadations, and much friendler staff!! This is my was not my first bad experience at this hotel and I will never stay there again.

Take my advice and go somewhere else!!
