“You couldn't do better for the price!”

We needed a place to stay after watching the Christmas parade in Gatlinburg on Friday nigth and thought why not stay somewhere where we could watch the Sevierville Christmas Parade on Saturday morning. The Landmark Inn is right at the beginning of the parade route and overlooks the main road. When I called and got the price of ~$50, we were afraid it would be a dump, so we actually rode to sevierville the week before to check it out. The place has been recently remodled and is in very good condition. We actually went with two other couples and all three rooms were equally nice. We also enjoyed the balconys in the back overlooking the river, I worked with three different front desk people and found them all to be very friendly and efficient.

“Nice, inexpensive "no frills" motel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2010

The Landmark rooms are a very nice size. We had 2 queen beds. We could not hear neighbors at any time, so good, thick walls! The beds were firm and comfortable for us. The room was clean. There is a small refirgerator in the room, but NO coffee pot, microwave, clock or hair dryer. TV was an old model and not a very good picture. There is a Burger King across the St., Shoneys next door, Mcdonalds within walking distance. Not too far drive to Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesdays and others. There is a balcony (patio if first floor) that overlooks a river, often see geese and horses in the pasture across the way. If you need an inexpensive, no frills motel, this is a good one, just be prepared, no amenities and no egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, etc! Low price. Free wireless. Why is it the inexpensive hotels have free wireless and you pay out the wazoo for that amenity at the high price hotels?? Go figure!

“Newly renovated - great value”

Was in town for an event downtown and this hotel was recommended by the locals. Location was super - just a pleasant couple blocks walk to the downtown area so I left the car in the hotel lot. Rooms have a balconies out the back with a really nice view of the Little Pigeon River, complete with ducks, geese, herons on other wildlife.

The room was freshly remodeled and very nice considering the low room rate. Some amenities like toiletries and TV were budget items but adequate. There was no in-room coffee maker, but those coffee teabags you typically find taste terrible so no great loss there - fresh, good coffee was available in the hotel office. Everything was clean and you felt safe staying there.

An excellent bargain if you're looking for a good night's sleep during your trip to the Smokies.
