This was the seventh time we’ve rented from Timbercreek and we’ve yet to be disappointed. Office staff has always been very friendly and pleasant to deal with.

Wet Your Whistle is the perfect cabin for couples. The cabin is secluded on Clabo Mountain which affords beautiful valley and mountain views as well as gorgeous sunsets. Just a short segment of the road up to the cabin is gravel, otherwise it’s all paved. The road is one lane and steep but well worth the journey.

Furnishings and décor are very tasteful and in good condition. The bed was a bit creaky but overall pretty comfortable. I do recommend you bring your own pillows. Bathroom was a nice size with a large Jacuzzi tub for two. The bathroom vanity area is very dark in the morning so bring a lighted mirror for make-up application and shaving if that’s important to you. The living room was comfortable with a nice TV and plenty of channels. Starz movie channels were included in the lineup.

Sitting out on the deck enjoying the sunset is the best feature of this cabin. You will only see the roof of one other cabin (Ravenwood) from the side deck; otherwise, there are no other cabins visible. The hot tub has a nice view of the mountains but is not covered.
The owners did not cut down all the trees in front of the cabin so you don’t get a grand panoramic view but the mountains and valley are still very easily visible.

Only complaint was the grill, which is a park style grill cemented into the ground. The ground had settled leaving the grill at an awkward angle on the hill and hard to use. There were also some crumbs on the kitchen table and rug underneath it. This area could have been cleaned better.

Overall this is a great cabin that made for a great vacation. Can’t wait to go back!

Steep roads lead to this wonderful cabin. Might be difficult with anything but a 4WD in winter, yet easy to access in low gear even in wet conditions if you know what you're doing. Roads are paved.
Wonderful views. Well equipped kitchen. (Bring knives for cooking). Comfortable leather couch and seating in Great Room. Beds are soft, all kings. Lots of closet and drawer space for clothing.
Nice billiard table. Hot tub is brand new, installed on 4/15/2011. Decks on every exterior exit, and outside of two of three bedrooms. Great views from two sides, and three levels of cabin. Nice little screen porch with rockers. Charcoal grill works well, has a can for ashes and shovel. Excellent grilling utensils can be found in kitchen.
Bathrooms on each level, two with large jetted tubs. All baths have stand up showers. Plenty of towels.
Wonderful large stone fireplace, free standing between great room, dining room, and kitchen. Dining room is surrounded by glass, providing nice views.
I'm in residential construction. This cabin is well built. Has some settling issues, as all cabins do, and some doors need adjusting, but all exterior locks function properly. Water sheds well away from this cabin. Owners did not cut corners, as I have seen in the past. Floor creaks, but it's a cabin. No one will be sneaking up on you.
This is at least the 8th cabin we have stayed in when visiting the area, and it is our favorite. Whenever possible, we stay with Timbercreek, as they have always provided prompt and friendly service in the past.
This is now our favorite cabin. I considered barricading myself in the place and making them remove me forcibly, yet came to my senses and realized we could return someday. The owners must have understood how blessed they are, evidenced by the most appropriate name possible, "Amazing Grace".
I also want to thank them, for choosing to share this wonderful blessing. We made memories we will never forget.

amazing grace was awesome!!!! we enjoyed ourselves so much!! we "had vistors our last morning. two bears looked like one cub from spring and one from last year. they stayed and played around our cabin for 2 hours it truely was an experience we never will forget. each time we have stayed with timbercreek keeps getting better i really don't know if you can top last fall!!!!

We rented the Little Feather cabin for 3 nights. If you rent this cabin in the winter when it snows, you will need 4 wheel dr. The road up to the cabin is steep and has a dead man's curve! But, once you get to the cabin, its well worth the heart attack! The cabin was well maintained and cozy! We did not see much wildlife outside of a couple squirrels and the biggest spider I have ever seen in my entire life. Also, know that you will be sharing a cul-de-sac with 4 other cabins. We were not to excited bout that, but it was still quiet and everyone's privacy was respected.
