My family and I stayed for four days during Christmas at the Pickle's Perch Cabin located on the east side of the property. No issues with the cabin, except for at night, past midnight during the last three nights of our stay. We experienced someone walking outside the cabin slamming the porch furniture and hitting repeatedly on the wall with what appeared to be a hammer or a heavy tool. Every morning we found a cigarette butt on the porch (non smoking cabin) every morning the three butts appeared closer to the door as for a message left for us to see. Nothing happened to our car or the cabin. it was definitely a malicious act to scare us away. Our cell phone reception did not work and there was only one phone by the kitchen away from our room. Once we brought this up to the reception's attention, the lady did not seem to care and only offered a robotic apology. Even when we called management, no one asked any questions or inquired about details. Definitely we did not want compensation, to the contrary it will be the last place we stay in. We believe that Hidden Mountain should be more oriented and aware of safety and security since there is obviously none.

We rented Eagles rest for two nights for a special getaway. The villa was listed as five star. We had five total in our party. One of the adults was to sleep on the sleeper sofa. It was so bad they had to sleep on the floor. It had a metal rod running through the mattress. When I spoke with management,I was told that no sleeper sofa is ever comfortable. I told him if no sleeper sofa is comfortable then they shouldn't have them. This was way beyond uncomfortable!!! He also told me the sleeper sofa is there to help accommodate people economically. I was also told that they are for young children,that they could never be comfortable for an adult. I told him this is not mentioned in their advertising. There is no clause that tells us that. He told me there could not be a clause for that. I also mentioned the fact that who would want to put children downstairs when that can't keep an eye on them? He was not helpful at all.

We have stayed at Hidden Mountain now three to four times and we would not go anywhere else. The people who manage these rentals are some of the nicest people we know. They are always ready to help but never bother a person leaving them with peace and quiet during their stay. There is always something going on. Just last week, we had a family of raccoons with us. It was a great time watching the "dad" taking food to the little ones. We have had nothing but good experiences there at Hidden Mountain and we look forward to going back in December. The cabins are always clean and furnished nicely. I cannot wait until we are back again. Thank you for a great trip.

We set out for a drive, clothes packed and thought if we make it to Pigeon Forge we will stay, we'll we made and called last minute to get a cabin!! Only one left!! and it was just perfect. We went just to get away from all the things you have to do at home and weeks and weeks of stressed out work. The cabin was perfect and clean as always anytime we have stayed at Hidden Mtn. This has become our favorite place to stay! It is close to everything, it is gated, the beds are always so comfortable, the rates are great and the staff is so nice. No worries about anything when you check in here. Would recommend to anyone, get it one try and you'll keep coming back!!!
