“Nestled Atop the Hills of the Smoky Mountains!!”

This was my second time staying at this resort, my first trip was with my family back in 2005/2006. This time I was able to share the experience with my beau and his kids! This was apart of my Christmas present to them and we had a wonderful time! The drive from Atlanta was about 3hrs or so and the weather wasn't the best, but we made the most of it! The resort is most accommodating, very spacious, excellent amenities, all the luxuries that you would have in a home were available to you in your room. The staff was most gracious and we took advantage of the indoor pool with the kids and the sauna room. I highly reccommend this location for a nice getaway!

Room Tip: Choose a back area location, lots of greenery, right next to the hillside...

Can only say that it seems to be OK. We will be here until Sunday. Some things out from the hotel are closed for the season, but then it is January.

Room Tip: All should be good. Larger are nicer if an upgrade can be worked out.

“Very nice, roomy condo”

This has been an enjoyable stay at a very nice resort.
Two exercise rooms were available and not busy when we used them. The weather didn't allow for us to play miniature golf or swim in the outdoor pool, but they looked well-maintained.
Check-in was simple and we were treated well. It was our first time staying at a timeshare resort so we attended the presentation. As other reviews mentioned, the sales pitch was pushy, which we expected, but took much more of our day than we had hoped.
We enjoyed being here during the off-season and plan to return with our children.
Only downside was being able to hear the vacationers above us walking around.

“Pretty OK”

clean new nearby to stores near shopping and kids attractions

overall a clean and well maintained resort
very less amenities compared to the size of the resort. this is a really big issue. the resort has approx 750 units (I think - 30 buildings, 24 units in each) and the number of amenities just isnt enough for these many units
wifi in our unit was very spotty. when it connected, it was pretty good but the signal strength just wasnt good enough.
the appliances were well maintained and of very good quality. Units have LCD TVs with cable.
resort is close to downtown pigeon forge, dollywood, old mill, walmart, gas stations, restaurants etc. Just beware of the traffic
we stayed in a deluxe one bed room unit

finally, many people here complained about the sounds from other units. We got a top floor unit. Yet, we heard a LOT of sounds from the outside and/or other units. Its pretty noisy. We got woken up a number of times in the night because of the sounds

the service at the resort is very good. no one even accepts tips. very friendly staff

Room Tip: get top floor

“Nice place to visit!”

My family I stayed in this resort right after Christmas. I had read the reviews about getting on the highest floor to avoid noise....we did not listen,, but should have! The walls are paper thin and we were on the first floor. It sounded like the people above us were moving furniture every night! The rooms were average and need to be updated. I liked the location because it was off the main road where traffic was horrendous. The area was SUPER crowded, long waits to eat and traffic to Gatlinburg was insane. Would not go at this time of year again! We did not have many needs while there, so we did not experience customer service really. We did unplug phone to avoid being bugged about listening to the sales people--this was the first time we did this and I would highly recommend you do it every time, unless you intend to buy something. Overall the place was nice, but, many other Wyndhams are nicer.

Room Tip: Pick highest floor, walls are paper thin!!
