We stayed one night while visiting the Smoky Mts. It was Mid Oct. 2011. We booked the room off their web. The Men at the front desk check in were really nice, and check in was fast. We liked the room we got 2 beds and it had a coffee maker and mini fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and well kept. Normal bath also very clean. We did have the breakfast in the AM, and there was plenty of choices, and it was good! Our room was quiet also. The only trouble we had was that the ice makers were out of ice, and it was a TN. game weekend so maybe some filled coolers from them and used it all. But not a big deal!!!!! They had a small indoor pool and also a large out door pool to the side of the hotel. We did not use either. It is a good clean fairly priced hotel. Check them out!

We checked into this La Quinta and the Clerk failed to tell us that they were having trouble with their water system. when we went to take a shower there was no hot water. We called down to the front desk and were told that the filters were being changed and that the water would be back up and running shortly. We decided to go out to dinner and when we returned the clerk said everthing was 'up and running'. When we got to the room and turned on the hot water it came out a brown color. We ran the water for 5 minutes with no change. When I told the clerk he said that he had not checked the water after it was "fixed" but there was nothing he could do about it. His offer was to refund our money and we could go find another room somewhere else. He finally agreed to book us a room at another LaQuinta. Of course it was 9 at night by that time.
He then said that they had scheduled this maintenance at this time because there were only about 10 rooms booked.
This is customer service and honest dealing towards your customers? We have stayed at other LaQuinta Inns with varied results but this by far is the worst experience we have ever had. I would avoid this LaQuinta Inn at all costs!

We have stayed at this La Quinta three times. It is always clean. The rooms are comfortable. As for comments left by another reviewer concerning no blackout curtains...well they were wrong. I thought the same thing at first. There are drapes sewn into place and sheers. Then there's actually a THIRD set of curtains that pull together for privacy/light blocking purposes. The indoor pool is a bit small, but has never been overly crowded when we stayed there. The breakfast isn't awesome, but it's free. (We prefer to visit one of the awesome pancake houses in the area anyway....Log Cabin is the BEST!) We have been placed here by "Priceline" all three times using "Name your own rate" so we got a bargain price....I couldn't have been more pleased for the money. The location is a little far away from the main attractions, but for the money, I will continue to stay there.
