We stayed at this hotel after reviewing hotels in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Sevierville area on trip advisor as we bring our small dogs with us.
This hotel is actually located on the North side of Sevierville, so it is a farther drive from the smokies, but actually the drive was not that bad if you use the alternative route to get past all the Pigeon Forge stop lights (Veterans Parkway).
Our assigned room was on the first floor near the lobby which made it very convenient for loading and unloading our car. The room was very comfortable with the a/c and heat working just fine and the beds were comfortable. The TV reception was okay but not great, but I came here to visit the Smokies and not watch TV. The room was clean. The only issue with the room were the water stains on the bathroom ceiling where there has obviously been some sort of leak. The repairs did not look too good.
The breakfast was great each morning. There were several busloads of guests staying in the hotel so parking was not a problem. The breakfast area was full each morning so we waited for the groups to clear out and came down just before 9am each morning. There was still plenty of food and it was hot.
The service at the front desk was excellent as everyone was very friendly. Both check-in and check-out were fast. This hotel allows pets which was a big reason we stay at La Quinta. We always clean up after our pets, I wish other guests would remember to do the same.
The front desk recommended an excellent steakhouse just a few miles North at I-40 in Kodak. I don't recall the name but it was very good and not too expensive. I would definately recommend this Inn and will stay here again in the future. In fact I wanted to extend my stay but the hotel was booked solid.
