I am an owner of a timeshare week here. Although it is fine for sleeping accomodations, the mattresses are showing wear. The main pool water is very drirty and is too warm for summer swimming. There is very little do do besides swim, the gameroom is extremely small and hot with just a few arcade games. They do have a shuffleboard court if you are in your eighties. Definately not for the young or young at heart.

We actually stayed here prior to 2007, (but earlier years were not chooseable.)
Anyhow, we were "passing through" the area, heading towards Memphis, and Graceland, but decided to stop over in the area, ended up buying a timeshare here at Sunrise Ridge Resort...and LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is SO MUCH to do/see/explore, etc. in general area, never mind how pretty the resort's location is, how it's situatated slightly away from the "hustle & bustle" of things, and the views are just absolutely breath taking! I look forward to our next trip here!
p.s. We didn't get a chance 2 use any of the other ammenities, as the general location has SO MUCH 2 offer! (Next time, we'll use ALL the ammenities! Sorry don't remember about fitness rm, business center, etc. But POOLS...THEY'VE GOT 'EM!!!!!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL ONES @ THAT!!!!

We have spent several Thanksgivings at Sunrise Ridge. Very roomy and the views of the Smoky Mountains are great. This time of year it is very busy between the football crowds and the Christmas shoppers so be prepared for that if you choose November. There are several outside pools and hottubs and one inside pool and hottub they offer discounts to all the shows just ask and some are a very good amount.

For being in Pigeon Forge, we did not hear any traffic, even though Dollywood was nearby. The staff, the activities director (Corina), the grounds keepers, I have to say were extremely polite and very helpful. For an older resort our room was very well maintained and extremely clean. We had a first floor balcony view and we still seen the mountains from there. We recommend going to the Monday get together to see what all the activities are in the area. We would definately stay there again.
