when we go to Pigeon, we stay at Maples Motor Inn. it's not fancy or pampered. no continental breakfast. it's clean, affordable, consistent year round rates, outdoor pool, little river behind the place with picnic tables. you can actually walk out in the river and feed ducks. comfortable, safe place for families. people sit outside their room and enjoy the day for awhile. remodeled. bigger refrigerators, tv up on wall, more dresser room for storing clothes. table for eating. chairs outside room. between light 4 and 5 on parkway. walk to stores.

My family has stayed at Maples several times over the past three years. The rooms are always clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Maples is perfect for the family that does PF activites through the day, but want a nice clean room to sleep in at night. Maples is locally owned and the owners care about the condition of their rooms and their guests stay. One of the housekeepers told me that the owners "expect them to do it right" and as a return guest, I can say that attitude shows! Keep up the good work!
