just stayed one night,seemed very outdated.hard to get to from the road, you have to go through long john silver parking lot.Family of 4, but only 3 towels. credit card charged twice although they did refund. Just not worth staying in my opinion when there are so many better options available.

My idea of a hotel is a place to crash. I'm always stuck trying to decide what I want in a hotel when I pick a destination. It always seems to be quite a decision...

Sometimes, I choose a very inexpensive option. Most of the time, I end up kicking myself. This was the case w/ the Super 8 in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Granted, the room was clean enough. Outdated, but clean. Wi-fi reception sucked on the 3rd floor and the walls seemed a bit thin, as we heard EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE around us.

The "free continental breakfast" consisted of Fruit Loops, Cherrio's, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and toast. Quite depressing, to say the lest.

Having said that, the price for two nights, after taxes and fees, was right at $138. I guess that wasn't too bad, since we spent minimal time awake at the hotel, but I'm still kicking myself for chosing that dump. If we go back, we'll stay elsewhere (and spend a bit more money so I don't have to look back and speculate).

We decided to take our family on a mini vacation because the summer was so hectic and gas prices are so expensive. We called around a few area hotels and the prices were outrageous and the reservationist were no very nice when they found out we were locals. I called Super 8 in PF and the rates were great! Very conviently located in the center of Pigeon Forge lots of restaraunts, shops, and attractions within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was Very helpful and the rooms were excellent for the price. Not an extravagant hotel but for the price can't beat it! Clean and friendly what more do you need.

We come to Pigeon Forge a couple times a year. This was our first visit to Super 8 but it will not be our last. Easy access to Dollywood and Dixie Stampede and very affordable. I especially like their repeat customer discount.
