After reading other reviews, I was somewhat skeptical of staying at this hotel. Me and my husband was looking for a getaway at an economical price. I went ahead and booked this hotel due to an excellent priced package. I am now glad that I did. I was extremely impressed with how well our room had been cleaned. I have been at other higher priced hotels but never felt comfortable enought to use their bed linens. I always bring mine. This time I actually used their linen..True, this may not be a ritzy hotel, but it seemed to a clean hotel, which is what I am most concerned about. The staff, both day and night, were really friendly and very helpful... I must say I was pleasantly surprised.. We stayed 11/11/11 in room 238. Thanks for a wonderful 4 day weekend...Oh, almost forgot....excellent location. We were able to walk everywhere we went....

i was there over the weekend the bed and room was cleaned everything was great and the price was only 55.00

We have stayed in this hotel in years past and at that time it was ok. They have remodeled the outside of the hotel and it looks nice. They have not remodeled the inside of the rooms and they are not ok. They should gut the inside for a complete remodel. The carpet was coming loose. The rooms were not clean. Upon arrival, I saw long hairs in the sink. I got some water on the bathroom floor and after wiping it up with a towel realized the towel was now black in places from the floor. It was difficult to manage the water temperature. The deadbolt did not work. The room had an odor. The TV remote did not work correctly. The rooms we had looked nothing like the professional pictures on this website. They were very dark and dreary. One of the dresser drawers was very hard to open and when I finally got it open, it tilted toward the floor and would not stay level. During our stay, we got several calls from the staff looking for someone else. Each time we told them the person they asked for was not staying in our room and identified who we were, yet they called several times after that. The luggage carts were very flimsy and did not roll well. As I said, the outside of the hotel looked great (recent remodel?), yet the inside of the rooms looked very old and not maintained. You can put lipstick on a pig and it is still a pig. We do not plan to stay here again. Perhaps if it is totally remodeled on the inside, we will reconsider. At this time, we do not recommend this hotel

This is the best place! The rooms are very clean. Service is great! You could not ask for better location! The ones that work at front desk are very friendly! We was sitting outside in rocking chairs and front desk clerk came out just to chat. We will be back!
