We stayed in pigeon forge during the off season. This hotel was clean and cheap. We received vouchers for a pancake breakfast each morning. The hotel is located at the end of pigeon forge and was a short drive to gatlinburg. They also have wifi which is a must for me. I will stay again if I go back. Very pleased.

My stay may have been an anomaly, but the experience left me NOT wanting to stay again.

Here the list of the main items that should have not been an issue for a motel and the staff...

1. The lighting was at most 25 watts. You could barely see to read and get ready. Even a 45 watt set of bulbs would have been nice.

2. The batteries in the television remote were shot, and they were not replaced during my two night stay. The remote should be checked every day by the staff.

3. There were ants in the bathroom. I killed over 10 on the floor and just as many in the tub during my stay.

4. The refrigerator's freezer was frozen over, and there was a spill that stained the massive ice blob. These things should be cleaned and defrosted regularly.

5. There was mold growing in the corners of the shower.

6. The room itself had a mild smell. I had to purchase air freshener to make the room tolerable.

7. There was no soap upon arrival. By the final night, the staff had left the typical complementary items. I had to purchase hand soap just to wash my hands.

I would have over looked one (maybe two) of these items, but seven does not make a good review.

The overall experience here was a good one. When I booked the room, the lady on the phone was very helpful and friendly. The staff running the front desk was very pleasant. The breakfast was cheap and very good. We ate there both mornings. My sister n law came down during our stay and they had no problem with it at all did not even charge us for an extra person. Housekeeping gave us plenty of supplies

Downside: The rooms are a bit outdated, but for the price who can complain. One of the beds had hair in it, not from me, but staff was quick to fix the situation. The parking lot can be a bit of a hassle, but nothing that couldn’t be dealt with.

I would stay here again

This motel has been really good for a long time. It is an older motel that is dated. But it is very clean & comfortable. Good size rooms for the typical older Pigeon Forge hotels/motels. Beds are comfortable, but pillows are flat (always bring my own anyway). The voucher for the pancakes just adds to the value of the room. Restaurant is good, better than some others near by. Easy in and out and a great location at the South end of the strip. Customer service is outstanding. Good rates as is, but even more discount for Dollywood season pass holders!!!
