Pleasant stay. Rooms were good sized and good layout. Staff was extremely attentive and pleasant. Exercise facility ample and a great indoor pool (perfect temperature - not bath water). The nights I was there they had free dinner and beer (I think offered Tues thru Thurs nights). It was actually very good. The night I was there it had meatball subs and a good, fresh salad bar - and beer. Surprisingly good and satisfying. Breakfast was equally good. Omelets (granted, not freshly prepared but very good for prepackaged), sausage, boiled eggs, pastries/bagels, cereal, oat meal, cottage cheese, fresh fruit. I prefer protein so this was great. The only two negative comments I have are not detrimental and would certainly not detain me from staying again - but the hotel is hard to get in and out of (entrance driveway is not clear and no light at the intersection makes it difficult to get out onto busy street) and the bathtub walls looked cloudy and sort of scummy. They were not bad (not black scum) but not the shiny reflection I get when I clean mine at home. You could tell from moving back and forth and could see it was not the surface texture, but the waxy stuff that (while it may have been wiped down) was not cleaned with a soap scum remover.

After spending one disappointed night at another hotel in Oak Ridge the night before Thanksgiving, we moved to Staybridge the next day. When my husband called to make the reservation, Megan informed us that cleaning services were not available because they had allowed their staff to spend the holiday with their families. I thought that was very thoughtful especially since that was why we were in the area.
When we entered the lobby, we were greeted by Christmas music, the scent of cinnamon pine cones, a decorated burning fireplace, and a beautiful Christmas tree to put you in the spirit. When we walked through the lobby, had we had not been told, there was no hint that the cleaning staff was off. Everything looked and smelled fresh. The bar that held the coffee pots and fixings was emaculate. Upon entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised! Everything was in its proper place and looked like home. The interior was so well decorated that even my neice thanked us for moving from the previous hotel!
There was an indoor heated swimming pool and home theater but due to our short time there, we did not get to partake in either. Whenever we visit the Oak Ridge area again, Staybridge will always be our choice. The rate was a tad bit more expensive than some of the other hotels in that area but well worth it.
We didn't get in from visiting family until after 1 am and found out that the doors coming into the lobby had been locked so we needed to use our keycard. I felt to safe and was glad to know that they took extra measures for security.
Kudos to Ms Megan and the staff of Staybridge for being a last minute lifesaver for my family and I during Thanksgiving 2011. We were able to relax and get some rest for our 6 hour ride back home. You all made our trip so much better than you will ever know. May God continue to bless each of you in all of your endeavors and keep up the EXCELLENT service.

Great place to stay. Staff is exceptional! Hotel is very clean! Grounds are beautiful. As woman traveling alone, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We brought our three small kids (2, 5, and 6yo) to Oak Ridge/Knoxville to visit family. Of the various options in the local area, this Staybridge Suites was the best choice, and we would happily stay here again.
The front staff was completely accommodating from the start - they even went out of their way to help us book with the lowest possible discount. We selected a two room suite in order to accommodate our family, but frankly the 2 double bed room was so large we could have made do with a 1 bedroom suite.
Both the complimentary breakfast in the morning and the manager's special at night (including free beer on tap) were efficient, clean, and perfectly fine.
The things that really made this a standout place in our minds were:
1. The pool is indoors, meaning that the kids could enjoy a swim despite the weather. A big plus for families
2. The laundry facilities were free. A lovely bonus
3. There is a media room equipped for families to watch football, or movies.
4. The gym was small but clean and well equipped
5. The place was located within walking distance to a major grocery store, a major department store, and several restaurants.
This Staybridge Suites exceeded our expectations, and we will gladly stay here again when in the area.
