Hard to find entrance. Room had a bad odor. Bathroom door falling off hinges. Had to ask for a room clock. Never got a refrigerator because "construction crews steal them." No wake-up call available. Continental breakfast was minimal -- had to ask for milk, cereal was hidden in a cupboard, bizarre behavior by manager. On third morning, no breakfast because manager was sick and lobby was never opened. We left for another motel, leaving two nights on our original reservation, and they appear to be refusing to refund our (supposedly refundable) original amount. Bad lobby staff, bad hotel.

We were going to Oak Ridge for a night at the theater and wanted a less expensive place than we'd been in the last time we were there. Walking in the front lobby should have been a warning as to what to expect. Everything was in disarray and it was not clean. The room was not clean, the walls had torn wallpaper, the bathroom door looked as if someone had thrown coffee, or coke against it and the control panel on the A/C was so dusty you could write your name on it. I should have read Trip Advisor "before" booking this one!

We were in town on business and were tired and just looking for a bed for a bargain price. That is basically all we got. We arrived at 10pm and there were several guys hanging out between their vehicles and their rooms near the office. It gave the appearance of a low class weekly rate motel. The front desk person was lounging on the couch in the lobby talking with a friend when we drove up. Behind the desk was an efficiency type kitchen area that looked very "lived in". The rooms were in serious need of updating. There were ants in the bathroom. After a few hours rest I woke up in the very early a.m. to take care of some online business. The free wireless high speed internet that was advertised was not found and the desk that was advertised as 24 hours had no one to answer the phone. The room did smell of smoke even though it was clearly marked as a non-smoking room, which triggered my allergies. The a/c did work ok and there was no mildew or musty smell. Even though we were only in town for 2 nights, we got a different hotel for our 2nd night. We definitely would not return to this hotel or recommend it to others.
