Me and my wife decided to get out of town and go somewhere for New Years!

We decided on the Airport Marriott because downtown hotels were out of our league cost-wise and we were told it was pretty easy to get anywhere in Nashville from the airport (which is true).

Unfortunately, we were also in town for some big college bowl game that was being held in Nashville and I think everybody at the hotel was there for this event. What this translated to was quite a few loud guests and lot of people traveling with children. The kids next door to us decided to start singing Christmas carols at 9am...then they started screaming like a it was a slumber party. I don't blame the kids, I blame the adult in the room with them! We called the front desk and they did promptly send somebody up to see what was up.

The first two nights were like this....then the "big game" was over and everybody cleared out leaving a nice place that was a little more our style.

Good:
Clean Rooms
Looks like it was updated recently
Staff was friendly
Indoor pool was awesome. Clean and warm with a whirlpool.
The food in the bar was good..not mind warping but good.
Free Parking

Bad:
Kinda noisy...even with the sports fans gone. Our room had doors to both of the adjoining rooms and you could hear everything that was going on in both rooms.
Terrible water pressure and water temperature. we called the front desk and they said they would fix it, but we never noticed a difference.
No free internet in the rooms. Really??

The price was right for the weekend we were there and if they could just make sure i could get a decent shower I would have bumped this up one more star!

After a hectic Christmas family gathering, my wife and I decided we HAD to get out of our house. Cabin fever set in and we wanted to get away from our familiar walls, all the chores staring at us no matter what direction we looked. We have been to the Marriott Airport twice before, and my wife keeps tabs on any special rates they may offer. We decided on it after seeing the rates at surrounding hotels. We were so glad we did. Nice, clean room. Quiet hotel even being across the highway from the airport. Our tv remote didn't work, but when I called the front desk, they brought a new remote up in less than 3 minutes. The hot tub was hot, not just warm. Ahhh... we went back home refreshed and ready to finish our chores. We will be back!

We spent the night at the Nashville Marriott Airport for New Year's Eve. When we made reservations, we paid a few extra dollars for the night and added the breakfast the next morning. I am so glad we did!! The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The gentleman who made our omelets was wonderful! He was personable, upbeat and did an excellent job with the omelets!

Our room was wonderful! The mattresses are the most awesome! It's the next best thing to sleeping in our own bed. The room was clean and well kept. The shower is very nice. It could stand to be a little larger, but the shower-head is really nice. It's one of those raindrops shower-heads.

This is our second stay here in the past few months. We have enjoyed our stay both times.

We were in Nashville for a one night layover before an early flight the following morning. After researching options, we decided on the Airport Marriott. We were happy with our choice. The hotel is very close to the airport. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, the bed was comfortable, and our room was fairly quiet. My main complaint would be the size of the bathroom. While the hotel has certainly been renovated, the bathroom was still very small. It was modern and clean but too small. It's still a great place to stay if you're looking for a hotel near the airport.
