We found the Loews convenient with a warm staff, however, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I had stayed at other phenomenal Loews properties and for the price I felt it could have delivered more. The hotel is located immediately across the street from the Vanderbilt campus and an easy walk to Centennial Park. One night we stayed in at the hotel at the bar/lounge and the drinks were pretty tasty but I found the food menu very limited and not that tasty. The rooms were fine, but if you get two beds they will most likely be doubles and not queens so plan accordingly. The concierge was very helpful in making the most of our trip.

If you have a business meeting, where you need several meeting rooms and on-site dining, in the Nashville area, make sure you consider the Vanderbilt. We had a meeting there at the end of January and I would heartilly recommend this hotel. We used several meeting rooms and had full breakfast and lunch buffets. Hotel rooms (meeting and sleeping) were great and the food was top quality, especially considering buffet service.

This place is hard to beat. The entire hotel is beautiful. The food is excellent and the main restaurant is surprisingly reasonable in price. Room and bed were top notch. Loved all the little things ... like having a shoe shine in the lobby, special treats when the bed was turned down. etc. The location is also wonderful ... it is right on the main drag in downtown Nashville.

The staff is exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The food is top notch and very good, with a wide variety.
