“Next door to the Vanderbilt football stadium”

Nashville was awesome. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and then moved down the street to the Courtyard for our last night due to coming on Homecoming weekend and everything was crazy crowded!

The holiday inn could've had bigger rooms and the exec lounge was always empty of snacks. If you arrive at night, the parking lot in the back has a locked entrance to the hotel and you'll end up walking all the way around w/ luggage to get in. However, those are the only slight negatives I can think of.

The hotel has a free shuttle to/from the music strip which is perfect. If you stay out late you might need to catch a cab back, but it's pretty cheap. There is also live music in the hotel in the evenings, although most of it wasn't nearly the quality of downtown, it was nice that it was so convenient. The hotel shuttle will also take you to any restaurants close by which is also a big plus.

The breakfast buffet was amazing - not included with your room, but if you have status you can ask and they *should* include it for free as a perk.

Nashville has lots to see nearby and this was the perfect jump-off point. We went to the Belle Meade plantation, Jack Daniels Distillery, Country Music Hall of Fame, and of course spent lots of time bar-hopping downtown seeing amazing singers. Even the kareoke singers sounded professional to me. Great time.

If you're there for Vanderbilt football - it's right next door, so this is the perfect location. There's also a big park across the street and a museum (I think.)

I'd definately stay again!

“clean, quick, and efficient”

My mother and I stayed here for one planned night in a double nonsmoking room.
We were here for a visit to the Vanderbilt Medical Center.
It definitely fulfilled our needs. It was very clean, comfortable, and roomy.
It exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very conveniently located to the Vanderbilt Medical Center. It was a very quick drive.
We were later to find out that we had to stay another night, and there was no problem with the check-in. There was a room available, and it was just as easy.
The room again, was very clean, comfortable, and roomy.

This holiday inn, is definitely an updated, modern and clean hotel.

Definitely recommend.

One negative comment that I have is, the breakfast buffet was overpriced and inadequate. Food was not very good, but only ate there because of convenience factor.

“Perfect location”

Our stay here was perfect. The location could not have been better. The shuttle service was wonderful. We came here to tour the city and the shuttle was available anytime, pretty much all day for free! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again if visiting Nashville.

“what a great experience.”

yes, it's a holiday inn...
a big high-rise of a building with nice, expected facilities.
but what makes it exceptional is the employees... every last one of 'em. from the 'barrista' in the lobby to the cleaning ladies and reception.
i arrived on a red-eye from Los Angeles and needed to get to Vanderbilt Hospital to be with a loved one who is undergoing treatment there. i arrived at 8:30 in the morning, feeling awful after working all day and then sitting on a plane with connections through the night. the reception staff worked quickly to get me a room... it wasn't that i was expecting that, but they did. they then gave me a voucher for a breakfast and a voucher for a drink later in their bar.
that shoulda been plenty, but i have to tell you about Ron, the shuttlebus driver.
i was taken to the main entrance of the hospital every morning with great conversation and lots of good wishes and prayers for my loved one. he remembered my situation and asked every day how things were going. on my last morning, he actually gave me a hug. what an amazing, compassionate individual.
i'm never staying anywhere else when i'm in nashville.

Stopped in on our way to Disney World. Service was excellent and the room was large and clean. We will stay here again. I do wish that the buffet breakfast was complimentary!
The waitress was so helpful and very friendly
