“A most pleasant experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

This is my third trip to Nashville to see my granddaughter on stage at Vanderbilt and my first time staying at this hotel. I must say I was totally impressed. The registration was seamless, the room was spotless and the staff was, by far, the most friendly and welcoming I've ever experienced. The breakfast includes anything anyone would ever want. All the way from the managers to the cleaning people it was like being with family! Sincere greetings and smiles from all.

Very knowledgeable staff. Wonderful tips on places to go and how to get there! I would definitely stay here again.

“Great location for Vanderbilt hospital”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

Very recently stayed here one night for my dad's surgery at Vanderbilt's hospital.

The location was excellent; It was a very short and easy drive to the hospital.

There seemed to be plenty of parking available.

The rooms were very nice and quiet, the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and actually had a decent hairdryer!

We left too early to eat breakfast in the dining room, but the front desk had some bags set out to grab that were full of food and bottled water. This was such a nice touch for having to go to the hospital so early. They also had coffee available all day long in the lobby (and I love Hampton's coffee).

Room Tip: Didn't stay on the first floor, but noticed several of the rooms are on the way to the elevator...

“Clean rooms, but Internet could be better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

This hotel appears to have been renovated somewhat recently. The room was clean with no oppressive air freshener scents. The closet was part of a built in on the far wall which includes the computer desk. The closet was rather small for more than one person or someone on a longer stay. The beds were on the firm side, but comfortable and solid.

My only real gripe is the internet connection was a bit slow. They claim to have wired connections, but the wired connection does not work. This wireless was ok, but on the slow side. Should be fine for casual users, but may be a problem for business guests.

“A real Nashville bargain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

We have stayed at several different Nashville hotels when visiting our son at Belmont University. While they were all very nice hotels, we always experienced sticker shock at check-out ... $32 for breakfast, $17 a day for parking, etc. So we were very pleased to find this clean, convenient, and less expensive option! It is a standard Hampton Inn - no surprises - but, as always, the breakfast was included and plentiful and the parking was free! We saved over $100 by staying here on our last stay. Also, there are several really great restaurants within walking distance (Blackstone Brewery is right across the street) and both Belmont and Vanderbilt are within blocks. Nothing fancy - but I highly recommend it if you're looking in the West End area.

“Staff and location is awesome!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

This was my first time back to Nashville in many years and I was really very unsure of my surroundings. Now check in at first was a bit of a nightmare due to some recent renovations on the property but both support staff and front desk were great.I was very well compensated for the troubles and the rest of my stay was great. The free breakfast and the facilities were breakfast is served is great. The property also has free parking. The room was very comfortable spacious and clean..Location to music row and Broadway were great only a 5.00 cab ride. The hotel can arrange anything you need to do and see.Great with directions and suggestions.Try the Blackstone's across the road they brew their own beer in house.Staff very friendly and know a lot about Nashville. Also the Red Door saloon is a local favorite and is within walking distance of the the Hampton.Cant wait to return
