We got to our room late at night and found both beds made up with stained (yes, body fluids) sheets and full of crumbs. No-one seemed surprised and we were given a new room. I appreciated that the general manager immediately offered a refund but she also did not seem surprised. Seems they may be used to a clientele who rolls in late and doesn't notice. Totally creeped me out and for the rest of my life I will check sheets for evidence of previous..... er..... occupation.

I called at least a month in advance. I called them directly because hotels were booked and we couldn't find another hotel in that area with rooms. We put the room on a credit card and received a confirmation number. We drove 4 hours went to eat and got at the hotel at 8. We were told our rooms were cancelled and WE didn't cancel them. They didn't hold our rooms even though we had given them a credit card. I had a note that said what creadit card I gave them. They said there was no credit card on file. Some how it "disappeared" I guess because the lady at the desk said we never gave them one. She didn't offer to find us a room we had to make her. The whole time she is cross with us, like it was our fault. We weren't from town and rooms were booked because of the marathon. We did get another hotel but not to our liking. Also don't call and complain to the Days Inn national number because they gave us the same go around. They need to work on their customer relations. All she had to say was mame, I am sorry but someone has messed up. Let me find you another hotel. That never came out of her mouth. We had to get hateful about it. Don't waste your money or time with this one:(

Last hotel available that we could find. They gave us their last room. The night attendant was nice. We got in our room turned on the bathroom lights. Ants were crawling everywhere. On the cups in the ice bucket on the walls around the toliet, in the tub. Even saw them near my bed. We stayed all night because we knew we had the last room. The next morning when i told the manager she acted as if it was no big deal. Even looked at me as why are you complaining? Then a kick in the face she took a whole $10.00 off of my bill. WOW was i excited. Moved to the Raddison across the street it was great. DO NOT STAY HERE>

We just got home from staying at the Days Inn Nashville, near the Gaylord Opryland. We were attending the ImagingUSA convention at the Gaylord but did not want to pay the $250ish per night fee for their motel, instead we spent less than that for our four night stay!

We had quite a few worries about the motel before going, many reviews talk about a bad part of town, wet floors, stinky rooms. None of this was true.

We arrived on January 10th, and checked in three hours early at noon. The room was nice and warm, very clean, the bathroom was clean and large enough to serve its purpose. All staff that we interacted with were friendly and outgoing. Continental breakfast was as advertised and good if you are the type that does not eat or need a large breakfast.

Very close to everything, we walked to the Gaylord many times to attend our convention, plenty of restaurants near by. We never felt scared or threatened in this part of town.

Best of all, free wifi, we did not have to spend an hour trying to retrieve the password or anything like that, simply turned on the lap top and surfed the net!
