“Nice Pet Friendly Motel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

This Days Inn is rather old looking on the inside, but clean and has a very nice staff. New rugs would definetlyhelp the overall appearance. We were traveling with a pet and couldn't believe what other so called Pet Friendly motels were charging. Here it was $10 for the stay. The room was very clean, a bit on the old side, but clean nonetheless. The location is great, walkng distance to Opryland Hotel and many restuarants and a mini golf next door. Having our dog with us, we weren't able to take advantage of that, but it is a plus. We couldn't hear any outside noise even though we faced the highway. We were 2 doors from the breakfast in the lobby. Typical cheap fare, but replenished often. This is a good, safe location, but understand it is not near the downtown music/bar scene area.I thought for the age of the motel the rooms were a bit pricey, but I guess that is because of the area. Definetly will be back if we travel with our pet again.

“Refused to stay in this dump”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2011

This place is dirty, cockroaches, elevator smelled like stale cigarettes, entry door cracked, and when I spoke to the clerk she (Teresa) said it had been slammed that day and it cracked. Well one more slam it could be a fatal accident. We checked in then turned right around and checked out. The attendant didn't act like she cared if we stayed or not. She said you will have to contact hotwire since you booked with them. Hotwire called the Motel and they thought we were still there. Lost $85.00 because I booked with hotwire. Will not use hotwire again since they are selling for such crappy motels.

“Mediocre at best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 July 2011

This hotel wasn't bad. The location was very close to the Grand Ole Opry and it wasn't difficult to get downtown if you have a GPS. Theres a lot of restaurants in the area and touristy attractions. The hotel itself was very dated and dingy. The room seemed clean, but somewhat small — the bathroom was even smaller. No vanity space, and on a trip with a mom and daughter the sink was fought over quite a bit. The hallway was gross, musty, they even had fans airing it out. I don't think I'd stay here again, but it was a great price and the beds were comfortable.

“Very good low budget hotel if you have a conference at the Gaylord”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 May 2011

Had a tight budget going to a conferance at Nashville. This hotel was perfect -locatin was nearby, wi-fi free so I could work with my lap-top, room was big, toilets and shower were clean. Staff were very nice and helpful. Unless you have a need to be in that area, I see no reeason to stay there - or if you have a rented car with you. Else, it's far from anything attractive. All in all, was happy with my stay there, it served my needs and had a small free breakfast too, which was nice to start the day with. Would have been perfect if they had safes in the rooms to leave the passport and lap-top.

“Okay for a 1-night stopover”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2010

Stopped here for 1 night as our base to explore Nashville. We had a car so proximity to downtown Nashville wasn't a problem.

Quite a pricey room despite its location - also the room had no fridge which we thought was unusual for a Days Inn. The breakfast was awful - very, very basic. The hotel could do with a good tidy up and cleaning too!

Would probably stay elsewhere if ventured to Nashville again.
