“Choose elsewhere...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2010

We didn't care much for this location. Granted from what I heard, it was slightly quieter than the La Quinta with the impromptu street racing in the parking lot until 3 AM. Instead, the bathroom was SMALL, the toilet didn't flush well (we had to hold the flusher down and pop it back up after it flushed - it had no pressure either), the tub was patched and scratched up, with paint falling off and slightly smelled of mildew. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but was filled with a STALE smoke odor. The parking lot was constantly busy with folk hollering and milling about on the weekend. In the evening going to dinner (about 2130 hours), someone was dragging what appeared to be a naked woman from the pool by the hair. It got a little better though once the state troopers checked in (we assume there was a conference in town for them). The front desk was nice, but the breakfast area had 3 or 4 small tables which were just not enough for everyone that was down there the morning we walked down, folks were standing around - we went back to our room. Thankfully there was a Cracker Barrel across the street (also a Waffle House next door). Granted the hotel is right off of the highway, so it was convenient going in and out of town from where we were. If you only want a hotel to literally sleep in, we didn't have any issues with that and the air unit worked well (which helped to tune out any outside noise).

“Needs some TLC and mold removal”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 June 2010

We checked in during a rain storm, and the front desk clerk was fabulous. She even offered to help me get my handicapped mother to the room. Once we got to the room, our problems started. I noticed black stuff on the walls, then I saw a roach run across my bed. Gross!!!!! I called the front desk. She responded immediately and contacted her manager. The manager called me and offered to either refund my money, or move us to another room on the 2nd floor (very nice lady!).They quoted us $20.00 off, but I feel that I should have gotten the whole room comped for the night. The employees were great, but this owner does not deserve to own a Best Western franchise. The whole place needs a remodel and upgrade....first by replacing the carpet....and getting rid of the mold problems....I will never stay in a Best Western again.

“Awful!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 May 2010

Stayed here when my flight was cancelled. While the front desk was friendly, the rest of the experience was absolutely awful. The room was supposed to be nonsmoking however it had a heavy smoke odor. The carpet was in terrible shape - all pulled and bare. The shower was patched and didn't drain. There was no bath mat. The hallway (outdoor) was unlit and for a single disabled woman travelling alone - quite scary! Outside in the parkinglot and in the stairwell were many rather seedy looking men smoking and drinking - crumpling the cans and tossing them. If I wasn't so tired when I got there I'd have gone somewhere else. The public computer was so antiquated it could not load the website to print my boarding pass. The shuttle bus driver however was quite accomodating and friendly.

“Friendly service”

I had a mixup in flights and needed to spend a night in Nashville. There is a shortage of accomodation due to the recent floods. The front desk service culdn't have been more friendly or helpful. Was it worth the money -no but it served my purpose fine.

“Terrible customer service!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2009

We recently spent one night here at the end of our vacation in Nashville. When we went to check in, the woman at the front desk was more interested in watching the football game that was on. I asked for directions to get to downtown Nashville, I was told to get on the highway and follow the signs. Out of the 3 lamps in our room, only 1 worked. By the next morning, that one lamp wasn't working. I went to use the business centre so I could print out my boarding passes for our flight the next day, only to find the computer extremely slow and then to be told by the front desk woman after I had been at the machine for 15mins, that it was not working and wasn't going to be working anytime soon. I asked if she knew of any internet cafes in the area that I could go to, her response, "yeah there's a bunch, you just need to look for them".
Average room for the price - ok if you just need an uncomfortable bed for a night and don't need anything else.
