We didn't care much for this location. Granted from what I heard, it was slightly quieter than the La Quinta with the impromptu street racing in the parking lot until 3 AM. Instead, the bathroom was SMALL, the toilet didn't flush well (we had to hold the flusher down and pop it back up after it flushed - it had no pressure either), the tub was patched and scratched up, with paint falling off and slightly smelled of mildew. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but was filled with a STALE smoke odor. The parking lot was constantly busy with folk hollering and milling about on the weekend. In the evening going to dinner (about 2130 hours), someone was dragging what appeared to be a naked woman from the pool by the hair. It got a little better though once the state troopers checked in (we assume there was a conference in town for them). The front desk was nice, but the breakfast area had 3 or 4 small tables which were just not enough for everyone that was down there the morning we walked down, folks were standing around - we went back to our room. Thankfully there was a Cracker Barrel across the street (also a Waffle House next door). Granted the hotel is right off of the highway, so it was convenient going in and out of town from where we were. If you only want a hotel to literally sleep in, we didn't have any issues with that and the air unit worked well (which helped to tune out any outside noise).
