Could have been a nice stay and good review but then things went from adequate to unacceptable. We stayed over the weekend and were enjoying the hotel despite the sub-par breakfast. We returned to our room on Sunday night and discovered there was no hot water in the entire hotel. The front desk said the repairman would come "in the morning." 7AM Monday morning and still no hot water, so we decided to eat breakfast and see if they were just about done with the repair. We were pleased to discover the Monday morning breakfast was more ample (they added waffles and fruit salad missing from the previous day), but the dirty plates, paper folding towels for napkins, broken waffle iron, lack of muffins and wheat bread, etc, left us dissatisfied with the breakfast both days and a little grossed out by the consistently dirty tableware. Afterwards we went to the front desk to learn they had no idea when the water problem would be fixed. Jessica did the right thing when we asked for a pass to the Hilton down the street where we finally took our shower. Can't believe Hilton doesn't have maintenance on-call and they leave their guest without hot water overnight and into the next day. Just plain unacceptable.

This hotel is in an old restored bank/office bldg. Just between the Capitol and a downhill walk to Broadway. We had a Huge BR in our suite w/ nice view

Our stay at Homewood Suites was amazing. The rooms were equipped with comfy beds, refrigerator, stove, dish washer and dishes. The hotel had a free breakfast every morning and free dinner on week nights.

Since we checked in on New Years Eve, the check in was a little slower, but expected on a busy night. Jessica was so great to us by giving us free parking for the inconvenience. We couldn't have asked for better customer service.

The hotel is located within blocks of downtown, so we were able to walk everywhere.

I highly recommend Homewood Suites. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We are Hilton Honors members and usually stay at Hampton Inns, but for our trip to Nashville, we decided to try out Homewood Suites, which is also a Hilton affiliated hotel.

There were many positives to Homewood including it's location downtown, it's cleanliness, and the price. The room had a nice view of the city, and a completely updated kitchen suite (no bathtub though). The BEST part however, was the complimentary breakfast and dinner complete with wine and beer. Yes....FREE wine and beer!! AND, the food was actually really good. For dinner, we had chicken cordon bleu, salad, a roll, rice, and green beans.

So, why not five stars????? Parking....we came in after midnight on a cold, dark, and rainy evening. We drove around the block about five times trying to find the entrance. When we finally found it, we were informed that there is NO parking or unloading in the front and that we would have to park along the side (temporarily) and unload our luggage.....in the rain. valet parking is still a walk (in the rain) with luggage and costs $20.00 a day. The designated parking is $10.00 a day, a block and a half away. Since the city wasn't too busy, we did use public parking across the street, but my guess is that this would not be an option during busy season. PLUS, we got a lovely $66.00 ticket for missing the time....ugh!! I also ran into a handicapped lady coming out of the hotel who was really struggling with the walk.
