This hotel was really neat! My first impression was "hip place." It had lots of colorful, curved walls and interesting art that pulls you in. There were funky pieces of furniture scattered about the hotel that seemed to beckon you to sit with your friends and come up with your "Nashville plan." It has a small bar with live music in near the lobby and a highly reviewed Japanese restaurant on the property but I did not eat there. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The layout of the rooms is modern and clean with huge bathrooms. I'm very picky about bed comfort due to back issues. The beds were super-comfortable! The rooms are equipped with a small drink service and coffee pot.
Getting to and from your favorite spots is a very short cab ride. We went down to Broadway right away and although you could probably walk, it's a bit of a hike. Cab fare was about 6 bucks. The fare was the same to The Station Inn which is a highly recommended spot for great music ;) In walking distance you have several good, fun restaurants like Chuy's (fun and good drinks) right around the corner and one more block up is Noshville. Seriously, you simply cannot miss Noshville for GREAT breakfast if you are this close!
The only drawback of this location is parking. My friends just parked on the street behind the hotel with no problems. I chose the garage at $19 bucks per night which is attached to the hotel and convenient but pricey. Parking is a major issue in Nashville so matter when you go will pay for parking. I can't wait to go back!

This was a very nice stay. The hotel is in a convenient location for Vanderbilt. There are some good places to eat nearby and you are within a short drive of many nice areas. The room was large and very comfortable.Front desk staff were great. We got upgraded to a room with a spacious sitting area. The bathroom had a really nice shower and wonderful Aveda toiletries-(rosemaRy & mint). The only glitch was that there was some confusion about the reservation, but this was cleared up quickly and without difficulty.

I like this hotel so much since it is so different from others I had stayed before. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds, and the bathrooms are huge, with a lot of space for your own toiletries.
And the staff is extremely friendly!!! Thank you all for a great stay in your hotel!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Indigo for a night to go to a concert at the Ryman. We were very pleased with how courteous the staff was and how cozy the rooms were. Everything was clean and well maintained and within walking distance of just about any restaurant you could want. We will definitely stay there every time we come to Nashville!
