My husband I are traveling to Kansas, from Jacksonville FL for Christmas. We figured Nashville would be the perfect halfway sleeping point. The hotel is conviently located right off the interstate, but in a slum area. Pulling in we could see homeless men, and hookers. The front desk woman was very rude; but I probably would be too if I had to work there. She gave us room 307. Automatically when we walk in our puppy finds tons of things on the floor. They hadn't cleaned the floors in months. The first thing I always do is pull off the sheets and check the bed/under the mattress. The mattress was stained horribly, and I found condoms under the sheets and on the floor. Our sink was also clogged and completely full of nasty water. The walls were stained with blood, as well as the desk chair. We asked for another room, this time she gave us 304. She did apologize and said, "the manager was usually strict on things like that." I did the same routine with this room. The beds appeared fine, but there was a stain on the wall. We showered, and the water pressure was awesome but the towels felt like dead leaves. An hour later, I find a bed bug crawling through our sheets. Desk lady called manager and said "room 304 APPARENTLY found a bed bug." In turn I told her we trapped the bug in a cup, because I had a feeling she'd say that. Then she said she could return our money if we wanted- of course we want it back! We left and will never stay with this hotel chain again!
The price really is too good to be true. I felt like we were in some crazy horror movie. Horrible horrible place to stay.
