Richard Demonbreun has simply the BEST bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. The room was very clean, quiet and roomy. It was actually better than any resort we have ever stayed at, not only because of the exquisite property, but the personal touch Richard lends to your stay makes it so special. BTW we need to mention Richard is an excellent chef. The complimentary full breakfast was outstanding. His professional kitchen is unreal. We really look foward to our next stay when we can enjoy one of his dinner entrees, beautiful swimming pool, and inground HOT TUB. It is also located within Nashville city limits less than 10 minutes from downtown, unlike some other BB venues that claim to be in the Nashville area, but are not even in the same zip code. This location is an extreme convenience not only because of being located close to downtown, but also only minutes away from GreenHills & 100 Oaks Malls and some of the best restaurants in the Nashville area.

Let's be honest. Those of us who patronize B&Bs do so at least in part because we enjoy meeting new people, including the B&B host(s). Likewise, those who own and operate B&Bs enjoy meeting new people. Every once in a while, however, you run into a real "character."

The owner/host of the Timothy Demonbruen House is a "charcter" in the best sense. Attorney, professional chef, historian and doting father, attentive owner/host Richard Demonbruen has carefully crafted his B&B to cater....literally cater...to anything one would want. There's even a suspended flat screen on the backyard veranda. You can watch TV as you play on the nearby ping pong table.

We spent one evening poolside chatting with our Aussie friends over wine and cheese after Richard lit the gas-fired chiminea. Did we mention the swimming pool or the professional kitchen? Our only criticism was parking. It was pretty tight behind the house, but there was plenty of on-street parking right out front. Also, while our room had room to romp, the bathroom was....cozy.

TD House is a 10 minute drive to downtown Nashville. The entrance/exit ramp from I-65 is less than five minutes away.

We arrived for a short weekend stay and were welcomed by Richard upon our arrival! The house was amazing and our room was just as we hoped...very cozy and the decor was enchanting! Richard was very accommodating and made sure that we felt at home and at ease! He offered to drive us Downtown and pick us up in the evening which was a great amenity. He put a lot of care into our service and made us feel very special. We loved his sheep dog "Herbie" who was extremely well behaved and provided some great entertainment! We would definitely visit again and look forward to staying for a few extra days!

My teenage daughter and I stayed at the TD house when we were in Nashville to visit her best friend who attends Belmont University. The house was beautiful, clean, and the location couldn't have been better. Richard was a great host who has somehow mastered the art of being around when needed, but not at all intrusive. We found him to be quite gracious. He welcomed my daughter's friend for breakfast, even though he wasn't actually a "guest" at the house. And I might add that the breakfast was delicious! The pool, spa, ping pong table, and game room were nice extras that are not often found at B&B's. For us, Herbie, the Old English Sheepdog, was a super bonus. We all enjoyed playing with him. However, if you are not a dog person, don't worry, Herbie was really only around if you wanted him to be. It was also nice not to feel rushed to check in and check out at very specific times. I would definitely stay here again.
