I was looking for a place downtown and didn't want to spend too much money for a quick stay in downtown Nashville. This Best Western has a very nice price tag for a hotel within walking distance to the strip! If price is the only thing you care about, this is an average place to stay.
The outside of the Best Western is more typical of a lower end hotel that was about 5-7 stories tall. To enter your room, you have to walk outside and on the walk way. One good thing was that there was valet parking and it wasn’t too pricey and that’s always nice in a downtown hotel.
As for the room décor, it was very plain and simple. Again it was very out of date, but that was fine with me. The bathroom was small but had everything you needed. The room was equipped with an older heating/ac unit that is below the windows and they are always quite noisy. The side of the hotel was next to a street so it was noisy also. But I still had a good nights rest.
The best thing about the hotel was the location and the free breakfast. It's in a great location being about 4 blocks from the Bridgestone Arena or the Broadway strip where all the action is. The breakfast had a numerous choice of drinks to choose from along with a vast variety of food to eat. I chose to make myself a few waffles. Everything was kept very clean and neat.
If you want a good price and don’t mind the hotel being out of date, then I would say this is a great place to stay. If you want something a little nicer and are willing to pay twice as much, there is a very nice place across the street which I have also stayed at. ;)
