This place is run and owned by a lovely family - great to give something back to the community by staying here rather than a big corporate company. They've recently redecorated the place so it's really comfortable and would definitely recommend that you stay here.

It's about a 10 min drive out of downtown Nashville but worth it for the money you save.

This motel was very affordable and very clean. Those that were on staff were kind and very helpful whenever we had questions about anything. The employee's had great knowledge of the area and gave simple directions to wherever we needed to go.

Recently, a couple of my friends and I went to the CMA Festival and we enjoyed our stay at this motel. The rooms looked very clean and new which impressed us all. There was also continental breakfast from 6 to 9 in the morning which including coffee, orange juice and great pastries which included; muffins, honeybuns, oatmeal cookies, bananas, apples and other healthy choices. The staff was friendly and I highly recommend this motel for a great stay. It's also just about 5 minutes away from downtown and the Opry Mills Mall.

It was late and we didn't want to spend a fortune. We had never been to Nashville before and figured we could find a decent motel when we got there. We saw motel signs from I-65 and decided to take our chances.

When we went into the lobby the desk clerk was on the phone. It sounded like a personal call and we waited a few minutes until we could talk to her (she kept the phone tucked under her chin the whole time...so much for making customers the #1 priority)! She quoted us a price of $47.00 plus tax, told us she would give us $5.00 off and our bill came to $51.00. Not sure of Tennessee tax, but I left wondering where our $5.00 discount had gone.

The room was large with a king bed and a couch. There was a fridge and microwave. After emptying our cooler into the fridge we realized the fridge didn't work. My partner checked out the electrical outlets (everything was plugged into extension cords) then pulled the fridge away from the wall to look at it. It ran off a 24 hour timer and the timer was off so we got that going (how many would have bothered to look behind the fridge? We wanted ice until the fridge cooled down but the ice machine was OUTSIDE and it was pouring rain for over an hour.

The vanity doors under the sink were nailed shut and the light above the vanity/counter didn't work. The sheets on the bed were rumpled leaving us to wonder if they had been changed after the last patrons. There was garbage on the floor behind the fridge and behind the bed. The carpet was dirty and there was dirt in all the corners of the bathroom. The tub surround was dirty where it angled downwards. The "continental breakfast" was coffee and a cellophane package of two (oatmeal?) cookies.

First thing in the morning we called the Days Inn Downtown and got a much better room for less money (only 5 minutes away and 5 minutes from downtown).

This motel turned me off America's Best Value for any future trips. It was just a bad experience that I hope to never repeat.
