“Clean cheap hotel but not in the best part of town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2010

Stayed here while attending CMA Fest 2010. The hotel is close to downtown and easy to get in and out of. There is a McDonalds just up the street. The area of town is not the best but for the price it was a good deal. The staff was nice and helpful. Some reason the air in the halls and lobby was not on. Most guys will not have a problem with the hotel. Women i would think about it twice if your traveling alone only because of the area the hotel is in. I did get pissed at the internet due to being kicked off alot.

Thank you for your honest review. This hotel is located very close to downtown Nashville and we are glad you enjoyed that convenience. We are not sure why the air in the halls and lobby were off because the lobby usually smells like coffee or fresh baked cookies depending on the time of day. We have improved our internet service by installing more access points which have improved the speed and reliability of our free wireless internet service. Thanks again and we look forward to having you stay with us again in the future.

“Nice location surprise”

My sister-in-law and I just returned from Nashville's CMA Festival. The Comfort Inn was surprisingly close to LP Field going along Dickerson Street and easily driven. It was clean and you couldn't ask for a better informed or more helpful staff. Bed could be a bit more comfortable and small bathroom but who goes to stay in the room?! There is the lobby breakfast or a McDonald's and convenience store nearby.

Thanks for the review. We are glad you enjoyed the convenience of our location to the downtown area. LP stadium is very close and takes less than five minutes without traffic. We have rooms with larger bathrooms so next time you stay with us just let us know and we will be more than happy to accommodate your needs. Thanks again.

“Worst Ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 March 2010

First off this hotel is located in the middle of the HOOD, so with that comes everything you can expect to find in the hood. Loud people and bad service are just a few things that are wrong with this place. Not to mention that my bed is sagging in the middle. I have stayed in a lot of choice hotels (Diamond Member for 3 years) and this is the WORST. Do not stay here under any circumstances. However if you do find yourself at this hell hole, bring a gun and eat at Jacks Bar-B-Que.

“Worst Comfort Inn I've ever stayed at!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2009

I stay at a lot of Comforts and this has been the worst! The rooms were dirty and not to the Comfort Inn standards. One bed was missing a bed skirt and both matresses were sagging towards one side. The blankets were filthy, not the nice fleece blankets they are suppsed to have. The breakfast was horrible! There was barely anything to choose from. The attendant did not care too much about the guests. Everybody was going to the pantry and helping themselves. I would not recommend this "hotel" to anyone. This is a disgrace to other Comfort Inns.

We are sorry for your experience at our hotel. Under the new management we have made sure issues like this are resolved. We have dramatically improved our room condition and we now have the best breakfast on our exit. Our breakfast selection now includes; hot waffles, sausage, eggs, gravy, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juices, different breads, oatmeal, 24 hour coffee, fruits, cookies etc. We have improved in many other areas also.

“Credit Card Info Stolen. Travelers Beware”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2009

A nightmare. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Apparently one of the receiving desk staff got the number of our credit card and the 3 digit code on the back and tried to go Christmas shopping at our expense. We stayed there on Dec 20, 2008. The next day...just hours after our departure, our bank called our cellphone inquiring about some strange charges being made online to Macy's Dept Store.
One was for 200$ and another for 400$. We were driving down the highway still on the phone with the bank when another charge came in for shoes. Of course we were able to stop the charges, but had to cancel our cards, which was an inconvenience when on vacation. I'm sure this has happened to other customers that stayed there. We have filed police reports and made complaints to the hotel manager. We know it was a hotel clerk because the card had not been used anywhere else. Beware...protect yourself and your credit information....thieves are alive and well in Nashville.

  • Liked — Room was adequate and clean. Pets allowed
  • Disliked — credit info stolen. area was scary.

We sincerely apologize for your experience at our hotel. The individual in question has since been terminated and issues of this nature have not reoccurred since. Please do not let the actions of an individual reflect the level of service at our hotel, we have made tremendous improvements under our new management. Again we are sorry and we hope you consider staying with us again so we can make up for our mistakes in the past.
