Stayed at this location on our way from Memphis to Charlotte for Thanksgiving. Had a free night from our credit card company for Hyatt Places which was fine by me, I've enjoyed the 2 previous times I've stayed at Hyatt Places although this was the first visit to this particular HP.

We arrived and were checked in and in our room in mere minutes. The room is pretty good size with a massive L-shaped couch to the right of the door. To the left are the desk as well as additional counter space which underneath is a mini-fridge. The 42 Inch LG Plasma is mounted on the wall between the "front room" and the bed towards the back.

The position of the TV allows it to swivel and point towards the bed or the L-shaped couch. Note that if you were working at the desk you would be unable to watch TV. The sink is in the same room as the bed which could be a pain if one person was trying to get ready while the other still slept. The Shower had great pressure and everything worked perfectly.

The location is pretty good, same exit as the airport which offers not only this HP but every other hotel chain known to man. There are plenty of different fast food options around. If you forget anything there are a CVS and Walgreens not even 5 min away. They also have a 24/7 menu next to the front desk which you can order nachos, wings, burgers, etc. Prices seemed a bit high and since we had to hit up CVS we decided to get Subway after checking in.

The breakfast in morning is quite a spread. All the usual continental items but you also can order a meal from the little window inside the breakfast room too. We didn't get a chance to do this so I don't know how it was.

We just had family move to Charlotte so we figure to be making the Memphis-Charlotte run every couple of months, this is a great stopping point if you're passing through town or get stuck at Nashville International for a night, we will be staying here again!

This was my second stay at a Hyatt Place. I enjoyed my fist visit in Atlanta, and when were looking for someplace convenient (and yet affordable) to downtown Nashville for a weekend trip, I was happy to find this location, about 7 miles via the interstate from downtown Nashville, very close to the airport.

This one looked pretty much exactly the same as the one in Atlanta, and that's fine. The lobby is bright, modern and open. The room is large and feels more like a small apartment with its separate eating, working, and sleeping areas.

Everything seemed clean; the couch looked a little tired, but otherwise, all was in good shape. I thought the sheets were just a bit rough, but the bed was very comfortable. The fridge ran noisily, so we ended up unplugging it. Love the big, bright television screen!

The internet was free, easy to access, and fast.

Staff is very helpful and quick. We ate the free breakfast (which is really pretty decent), but it's nice that they have alternatives available 24/7, including alcoholic beverages if you are interested in something other than what's included in the room price.

I did not use the exercise equipment on this trip, but I checked out the room, and again, it was just as it was in Atlanta - a little sparse for my taste, but better than nothing. They appear to have a pool, also. I also did not use the business center, but it's nice to have it, and they have a small meeting room available as well.

I do wish they offered a shuttle to downtown, even if there was a fee involved. We were in Nashville to have a fun weekend, but being on a budget, did not want to spring for a taxi to downtown and back multiple times, so we drove and parked. It's an easy drive, and parking is available, but it would have been nice to not have to watch our alcohol consumption quite so closely while we enjoyed all the honkey-tonks downtown! Still, for less than half the cost of a downtown hotel, this is a good deal.

This is my first stay in a Hyatt Place property and I would return. I love the layout of the king room. The bed was very comfortable and the location, though near the airport, was quiet. The only complaint was that the pipes made a high-pitched squeal when the shower runs; a little annoying, but temporary.

This was our first experience with a Hyatt Place property and we couldn't be more pleased. The staff was helpful and friendly; even gave us a guided personal guided tour when they learned this was our first time to a Hyatt Place! The room was clean and we loved having a lounge area with desk and second sink/wet bar area. Can we just say WOW to the huge HD tv on swivel stand?! The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Our only problem was trying to find somewhere decent to eat nearby. We couldn't find a dining guide in the room. I don't know if they were trying to promote their own in-house dining option, but I wish we had stayed and taken advantage of the food offerings at the bar in the hotel lobby! PS: don't go to the nearby Shoneys! We will be looking for Hyatt Place properties from now on in our travels!
