“High crime location...drugs and prostitutes!!!”

Ok, here's the real deal about this hotel. Some years ago I used sell drugs from this hotel. Not only this hotel but all the hotels on this street. By the way, I live in Nashville. Drug dealers and prostitutes have been known to rent these rooms to sell drugs, smoke crack, and turn tricks.

The crime is not wide open but it does exist. I have since changed my life and I am now a Christian. But I live less than a mile from this hotel and prostitutes are rampant near this hotel and the whole area. The hotel doesn't look half bad from the outside but its not very well maintained and outdated. This hotel hotel took a turn for the worst around 1992 and its been a downward spiral since then.

But in the hotel's defense, its just located in a high crime area.

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY

“it was gross...don't stay here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

I had made reservations to stay there one night this week on our way home from vacation. Fortunately I asked to see the room before paying for it. We had requested nonsmoking. The maintenance man had to come let us in the room because the key didn't work. When we walked in it was so smoky I couldn"t hardly breathe. The maintenance man said "There is no smoke"......duh I know when I smell smoke.

Second room we looked at had walk-out sliding door to the parking lot. It was not locked and the sliding frame was broken. The room itself looked very old and gross.

The walls in the lobby had old outdated wallpaper and the baseboards were missing. The young lady at the desk said they were changing the flooring so I guess I can believe that (hopefully they were changing the wall cover also).

Needless to say we did not stay there. It looked disgusting and unkempt. I told my kids not to touch anything while we were in there. I am not a complainer but I think this needs to be reported to warn others. There is no way I would allow my family to stay there.

“Don't stay here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 June 2011

The experience I had at the Nashville location on Brick Church Pike was not good. The floor in the bath room was horrible! It was so nasty we had to wear our shoes.
They didn't have regular coffee two days, only decaf.
Our room was NOT CLEANED TWO DAYS! We had to call at 7 something in the evening and then had to WAIT on them to clean them room! When the guy came to the room he was YELLING at me saying something about he has been working 7 days a week and not a day off. THAT’S NOT MY PROBLEM!
We didn't have RUNNING WATER one day until sometime after 2pm.
The breakfast was okay. The beds were okay.
The internet wasn't working on two different occasions!
My friends and I won't be staying at DAYS INN ANYMORE!!!!!!

“Checked out 4 different rooms, all equally disgusting.”

We reserved 2 rooms with double beds in each, and we all switched to another room the next day, so we had seen 4 different rooms and 8 different beds. They were all equally disgusting. The picture some one posted here of the blood stain on the box spring? All 8 different beds are like that. Some worse than others, but all stained. I can't even begin to imagine how they all got stained.

The staff is extremely rude. We slept in late the first morning, and the housekeeping guy kept knocking on the door impatiently waiting to clean our room even though we told him repeatedly not to bother. He would just come back after 5 minutes. He seemed pissed off every time. 11:00 a.m. sharp the last day we were there, the guy came knocking on the door like there's a fire yelling "CHECKOUT TIME!!!" Oh, and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all.

I'd rather stay in my car next time than staying at this lame excuse of a motel. Would not stay here even if they paid me.
