DISGUSTING!

Having lived in Nashville all of my life you would think that I would have already happened upon this "gem".

Having checked into this hell-hole with plans to stay a few weeks, I observed the following within minutes of check-in: a front-desk employee screaming profanities at a guest / an obvious drug deal by the elevator / 2 guests who approached me asking for money for soft drink machine / mold all over the bathroom walls, tile, floor / an inoperable phone / mold in the living area / light fixtures - apparently original Edison's - that were poorly maintained and had hazardous patchwork re-wiring.

Upon attempting checkout, I also was given a dose of the desk clerk's profanity-laden wrath. I fled for the safety of my car when the language became threatening and never went back even for my refund.

Without exception, the worst hotel experience of my life.

Want to live life On The Edge? Visit the Stadium Inn! Proudly displayed in a glass cabinet in the lobby are the check-inn slips of patrons who the owners have had arrested for various misdemeanours, mostly "DRUGS".
Some even have crack pipes taped to them! Wahey! Then in the room, you'll find yellow towels and yellow sheets, that were once white! and the sheets have burn holes all over them! what more could you ask for?
A lock on the door! No! Don't be silly! Then how could the owners get in to find the crack pipes! Luckily each room has a chair with which to wedge the door shut, so you can sleep soundly.

One look at the run-down exterior of the Stadium Inn and you know you're in for a rough night. Amazingly, it only gets worse. The lobby is filthy. The staff is rude and dissatisfied and only too eager to tell you that the owner, Bill DeShears is a world class prick. Just hope you don't stay on a Titans Football night, because DeShears parks cars on every square inch of the tiny, potholed parking lot, leaving virtually everyone parked-in. Of course, he is nowhere to be found when someone wants to move their car before the throng has left the game. The staff then becomes even more rude and even more adamant about DeShears lack of scruples.

I didn't ask, but I would not be surprised if most of their rooms are rented by the hour, if you know what I mean. Clearly, no one with any standards of any kind would spend five minutes in the place.

Such low class should be a capital offense.

The Stadium Inn, Heartbreak Hotel and/or Scottish Inn; no matter what name the proprietors use to further this scam; it remains the same: THIS PLACE IS A FILTHY DANGEROUS DUMP. Do not stay here under any circumstances.
