We appreciated the great location, as we didn't have to drive anywhere while visiting. It's just two blocks from the Ryman Auditorium, across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame, and next to the Bridgestone Arena.
The food was great in all of their restaurants.

This Hilton seems to do everything right but it does nothing spectacularly. It also does nothing particularly wrong.

The best part of this hotel is without a doubt the location. If you draw a triangle combining the country music hall of fame, the bridgestone arena, and the symphony house, this Hilton would be the base of the triangle. Its also steps away from the 'honkeytonk' of Broadway. I don't think it would be a stretch to say this is the best located hotel in all of Nashville.

The rooms were also very spacious. Every room is essentially a mini-suite. There is a tv in the bedroom and the living room. It had a mini-fridge (empty) and a microwave. Also my room overlooked the country music hall of fame and the sunlight was plentiful.

Now this hotel isn't old and it isn't out of date but its not new and the hotel style is not brand new. This coupled with the fact the windows don't open in any way made the hotel room feel a bit stuffy. I couldn't get the very slight smell of dust out. Parking is valet or self-park but self-park is off-site and has no in and out privileges.

We stayed here one night as we were driving through from Florida to Illinois. We wanted something close to downtown and this is only a half a block from the action! It is a nice property and great location but I found the room decor to be a little long in the tooth for the price we paid. They also charge you extra for EVERYTHING including internet. It really annoys me when hotels charge an internet fee.
All that being said, you can't beat the location!

My wife and I have stayed at this property several times. It’s located right downtown in the center of all the action. Easy walking to Broadway and 2nd Ave. The hotel is very nice. Rooms are nice size and the staff is very friendly. Anytime we have friends come to too town, this is where we recommend they stay.
